Asking for scientific purposes. I found a really neat one with yellow-ish pages (nice and gentle on the eyes) and I'd love to use it for something, but idk what quite yet.
I'm thinking just taking more pictures of stuff I find pretty and putting that in there, as something of a journal, with maybe a few recipes, ideas, book recommendations, and songs I like. Just kind of a 'these things make me happy' notebook but idk yet :>

Oh I almost always use mine for drawing, though sometimes I'll have one to write in too. Those one's are usually for my stories and whatnot.
Also for some reason I used to be able to be fine with drawing on lined paper, but now I legitimately get bothered by it? Idk maybe I'm just weird.

I have so many notebooks and notepads omg
some are filled with short stories of my characters
some are filled with doodles and character profiles
the small green notebook i carry around is filled with Fire Emblem teams and strategies lmao
The tiny notepad i keep in my pencil bag is used for keeping track of things... and doodling.

Currently, my purple notebook is used for drawing, but I might tear out the pages and use it for something else. Here's what it looks like:

Personally I only use notebooks for things that I feel I can't keep only on a computer or device. I keep passwords and addresses in notebooks just in case something happens and I can't access the internet or my hard drive gets wiped.
Besides that I've tried to use notebooks for, ya know, taking notes and all, but in the end I feel guilty because it's honestly more wasteful than just using a computer.

1. one for taking notes for a book I want to write. I keep most of my ideas, like random scenes that pop into my head or facts about the world its set in, in there.
2. lyrics to songs that I really really like
3. and a real pretty one that I originally wanted to use for collecting photos and stuff, but it's kimd of become a mini lab book instead ... I keep all the notes and statistics for my experiments in there atm. It might serve it's originally intended purpose one day, though, who knows
