something I made up that it’s weird to be in the last poster column of the front page of multiple threads? for some reason I’ve always had a problem with doing that to the point where after I post on one forum, I go check another so I don’t post too much on one. I can’t tell if this is actually something that makes people look down on you or just something my weird brain decided on to make life harder for me. Thoughts? edit: looking at the front page of frd, clearly at least some people don’t notice lmao

Sometimes I'll be the last poster of like 1-5 forums at once on the front page. Sometimes it feels weird but what can you do? You're active. Mind you, that usually happens at like 11-3am. Whatever that is in the 24 hour FR time. Usually 1-3 times during normal hours.

It's really noticeable during those early hours because it'll be like:

And I'll cringe a little, but *shrug*

I feel self conscious about this sometimes too! I don't think it's something that most people notice, now that I think about it I don't think I've ever noticed anyone else do it even though I'm sure people have.

Whenever I'm actively selling my dragons in Find a Dragon, you will definitely see my name as the last poster on like half of the threads on the first page lmao. Especially if it's late at night and activity is slow.

Basically what I do is open a whole bunch of threads in separate tabs, read the OP, and then copy pasta my dragons for sale if they meet the requirements. Close the tab, then rinse and repeat. I can end up posting in 10+ threads in like 30 mins if I'm really on a roll. So yeah, I'm not that self conscious of it anymore, even on other subforums.

And I don't really notice other players, unless it's someone whose username I'm familiar with. But even then, I chalk it up to them just being on during their active FR period.

i think that since so many people are feeling awkward about doing this, nobody actually cares if your username was the last posted on multiple threads at once

i could care less about others doing it and myself doing it
for me, it matters in forum games like "choose the dragon above you!" cause then if you're commenting on all those kind of games, then everyone's gonna be looking through your lair lol

Interesting! I don’t care about other people doing it but I always feel weird when I do it, which I think is due to the fact that my brain is just.... odd.

I don't find it odd when others do it, but sometimes get a little self-conscious (about my lair, especially when it contains more than 2 incomplete dragons) if I've done it, particularly in 'pick the dragon above' threads.

Yeah, that actually does happen to me quite a bit over in the Introductions thread. I see my name plastered all over the last posted threads and I just think, "crap". XD

I try not to be self-conscious about it though, because I tell myself rationally that most other people probably wouldn't think something like that is out of the norm or even notice it at all. But despite that, I still notice when others do it too. I guess it's just one of those things, lol.
