It's about to be fall and I'm making a list of all fall activities I'd like to get around to. I was just curious what you guys like to do for the fall. I've already got a lot down about pumpkins, apples, fall specialty drinks and desserts, and a few places I want to visit near my hometown. I'd love to hear your ideas and maybe get inspired!

Just going for a walk. I don't do well with heat, so once fall rolls around I like getting back out and walking more while there is still light out and looking at the leaves changing color or checking decorations people start putting up for Halloween (a few folks where I live do nice elaborate displays).
This is also the time of year when most local towns have their annual fairs and such (usually with names like "Harvest Festival" or after a specific vegetable or something), so those are fun. Particularly when I take my nieces, nephews or friend's kids and we go on some rides and play a few games for some measly little prize, then we go get a snack like cotton candy or elephant ears (a big fried dough thing covered in powdered sugar) and a lemon shake-up.

Formerly known as Brenning.
I usually do casual stuff like walking through the woods when the leaves are at peak colors, bonfires and roasting marshmallows and hay rides. Mmmm I love fall...oh and yeah, fall festivals are great!
Chilling inside, reading (or possibly writing), with a nice cup of tea nearby, while a storm is outside. The light, the sounds, everything is just perfect. That is like the epitome of a comfy feel.
On a non-stormy day, walking through the woods and taking photos is nice. And even if you choose the same spot repeatedly, the landscape will keep changing. The colour and amount of leaves might be different from day to day.
And animals will also be very visible during this time. Squirrels ahnd other small mammls are unusually active, birds are more visible in the bare trees. And if you're lucky you'll see a variety of invertebrates, before many of them are dying or hiding for the winter. Picture opportunities aplenty.
Activities like that of course depend on the climate you're in.

I like to walk and take pictures, too. If you rake...try jumping in a pile of leaves. It makes me feel like a kid again.

I'm really into the baking mood right now lol so i'm trying to make this french gingerbread recipe, coffee cake and pumpkin pie for autumn it's a slow process but I'm definitely trying.
Number #1 activity is just doing outdoor stuff, hiking and camping etc. it's so pretty to see the leaves falling or going on a road trip w/h friends to see the Autumn scenery.

Read under candle light, watch horror movies as a warm blanket burrito, enjoy a steaming cup of coffee/tea/hot chocolate, go for walks in the nearest forests... There's a bunch of things I enjoy doing! I also like to invite a small group of friends over during fall just to play boardgames and/or watch horror movies.
