So in Coliseum, they have this Rated Battle where you get to battle one another. But, it seems like it doesn't work since I would have to wait forever (and even waiting for quite some time would get me no where).

So I guess my question is:
Does Rated Battles Work?

It does. When there are other interested players in your levelrange that want to do rated battles too.

But since they are rather unfavored you might wait a long time for it to happen.
Usually its easier to start a thread in the discussion forums to ask if other players wrre interested - most times there are some opponents around afterwards.

What I think would be cool is if you could search for a player, that player gets a notification if there online or you get a message saying they are offline, then they see what your team is so they can see what dragons are around the same level, then the battle starts.
Kind of like Pokemon Showdown, if anyone else plays it.
Feel free to critique the idea, and let the admins know about it. Many times I have wanted to battle my friends, but have been unable to.

Either way, this thread is 3 years old - Rated battles are disabled at the moment because of the Coliseum overhaul
