hi im rly new to the forums & i was just wondering what the policy on swearing is, because ive seen people use minor curse words but are the harsher ones banned? also im not asking this so i can swear like a sailor lol i was just wondering

Swearing isn't allowed. There is a profanity filter, and you aren't allowed to change words to get around the filter.

Using softened swear words (even ones mild enough to be used in Harry Potter...) is not permitted, and acronym swear words are also blocked by the filter.

Iirc, you can use Crap and Bloody as they are considered too mild to be an issue (in the early days, calling an ugly dragon a 'crap ant' was normal and accepted, for example), but the rest..? Not so much.
