I believe if you send too quickly or too many times they flag it as spam @lunusdragoness

Also Check your sent messages to see if you already sent the message. I've noticed from time to time ill hit send and it 'wont send' try to send it right after and get that message then look in my sent and it's already been sent.

If you have sent too many messages within a certain timeframe, the site will bar you from sending messages for a time because it seems like you are spamming. This could be anywhere between an hour to a day, I believe. Just wait.

There seems to be quite a few people complaining of this problem over the last day. Maybe it's related to the errors mentioned on the status box?
I say this because I've seen 3 posts on the subject in the last 24 hours, but virtually never in the past.

I'm having the same issue, it's really frustrating because I'm trying to send flowerbombs to welcome new users...

I feel like this could possibly be linked to the account that was locked a few nights back that was trying to get to 4.5k friends? They could be trying to stop spam like that by being really strict about it, which stinks.

Hello everyone! @Motherofdrgns747 described this as 'flood control' and that is accurate. With Welcome Week about to start, we had to take some measures over the weekend to protect the integrity of the website and our community.
We are actively monitoring our flood control measures. Only a handful of players have been impacted by this; however, that doesn't mean we can't make some adjustments.
@lunusdragoness, you will be able to resume roleplay soon! :)
