Soooo I want to do commissions in the very near future, and so I made a paypal account. I'm really insecure about these things and I don't want to mess it up later so I figured that maybe someone could help...? x-x I looked up some things, but I'm still not really sure if everything will go smoothly :I


1) So I have my paypal but I can't link my debit card to it which means it isn't verified, right? If that's the case, will it cause me problems with receiving/sending money?

2) I'm not from the US, so that means (obviously) that my country has different currencies. If I just swap to USD as my primary currency (in my account) then I will receive the payment in USD and it won't convert it to the other currency, right?

3) About invoices; do I need to fill out anything other than the email address? Because at first glance this invoice thing looks confusing to me tbh.

I don't exactly have answers to the other questions but wrt information about who you're invoicing you only need their account email. Ofc there's other stuff about what they're buying that I'd advise you fill out. I can link you an invoicing tutorial that I've found useful, if you like? :>

Have you tried asking these questions on Paypal? It's their site and they should be able to help and give the most accurate answers. Also, thanks to international finance laws the answers you need might be country-specific.

Alright, thank you! Someone also helped me and they linked me a tutorial about invoices so I think I'll be fine~

Thanks for the help! Yeah I did and apparently I can't link my card because it's Maestro ??? Which I still don't understand because there is an option to link Maestro cards... But whatever I guess, if I understood right I can manage without it.
Everything else is clear now kinda.
