Gen ones are not worth more than fodder if their colors are not fitting to each other. A lot of gen ones are being sold for less than 10kt because no one wants them.

@yeehawbuckaroo Yup yup he is but gen 1s aren't always worth more than other dragons. There are 42 gen 1s on the AH under 10k/10 gems at the moment.
He has quite unfortunate colours, the eyes don't match and the genes aren't that popular. Ekon's probably about right.
Unfortunately dragons aren't worth the genes you put on them as the buyer probably won't want to keep the same ones and won't want to pay you for the cost of the scrolls you bought and the ones they'll need to buy.

Yeah, like stated before gen 1's even when gened can go for pretty cheap sometimes. For example, this guy that I got a few months ago for 50 gems:

He had two treasure genes and glimmer (a gem gene) when I bought him.
