I got a wind dragon egg from scavaging looked up the prices of the eggs vs. First gen dragons. Eggs in auction is so much more expensive than the hatched eggs so my question is if I sold the egg what would really be the price? And do they even sell at that price? O.o

@FearReaper Yes, they really do sell at the lowest prices in the ah. If you want yours to sell fast list it just a bit lower than the lowest priced one there. It can be a pretty good way to make yourself some fast gems. Or treasure.

@fearreaper the prices you see on the AH are the prices they go for ^^
Most first gen dragons hatch with hideous colors, so they end up being fodder priced.
Eggs, on the other hand, are rare and sought after because of the gamble of colors, and because it can start a new project.

@FearReaper eggs do sell at that price.
people like the gamble of hatching an egg. if you hatch an egg, you could get an ugly dragon (which happens most of the time) or you could be very lucky and get nice matching colors, or even a double or triple.
since there are so many gen ones, those that don't have very nice colors aren't worth anything more than an average ugly dragon.
