Soo, I've seen these a lot. People making a sub type of dragons that need specific genes and colours.
Stuff like windy drakes, koi drakes, jagaurs etc etc.
Is there a way to go about creating your own?
Also what's the correct term for it? I dunno if sub species it right..

Subspecies is what they're generally called, yes. You're free to create your own, though I believe there is a directory of them somewhere on the forums. Many flights also have their own list of flight-specific subspecies in the flight forums.

Sub species is very right, and they're pretty easy to make! You just need to dedicate your time into working on everything, money for banners and buttons if you don't want to make your own

That's fair enough, I expected that much. Do you know if there is like a guide or something for all the info ect you want to have included, or would you suggest just following the kinda basic layout of other sub-species posts? :P

I don't know if there's a guide anywhere, if there is I haven't seen it; but layout isn't as hard as you think! Start with a little intro, then some lore for the sub species, the breed/gene/color requirements, registered dragons, a sales thread once it gets bigger and that pretty much covers it! Basic layout.

You might want to check a subspecies hub to check to see if any ideas you get have already been done. Most of the flights have a public hub for their subspecies and there's at least one for non-flight specific subspecies.
