TOPIC | Colliseum help
Heyo, so in case you couldn’t tell by my plain profile, I’m brand new here. I love the coliseum feature (I love getting loot) and I got to the recommended level for the forest path. I go to play it, and promptly discovered that it’s FREAKING IMPOSSIBLE! My dragons do maybe a sliver of damage the the hp bars, while some forest naiad proceeds to crit almost every time! Is this a glitch, or are these uppper levels that unbalanced from compared to the other levels? I want to get more rare loot (not to flex, but I got a REALLY nice skin in a chest. That was so amazing to get lol)

You need to look at the level of the venue - and then level your dragons up to meet or exceed the level. I'm not sure which is the one your talking about - (Woodland Path maybe?) and you also need to up their stat points. Check out this guide to help you level your dragons:

@Baloneybear

Coliseum isn't as much unbalanced as it is incredibly unintuitive (although it is that as well). Generalists like your current team don't do well so I recommend restatting them as soon as possible

A Newbie's BASIC INTRO to the Coli covers the basics well, Sedona Guide and Culex Guide are the main levelling guides, and Maki’s Guide has the current lv25 builds (note that the best money-making ones need specific elements to work)

As for Sedona vs Culex, the former costs less but is slow and the latter costs more but is a lot faster. The reason for the differences is purely Eliminate battlestone, and since those are reasonably obtainable now due to Glimmer and Gloom (30min/day gives you 75kt), my recommendation would be to start with Sedona and then restat/stone the dragons into Culex once you get the Elims

(Oh, if the chest you got was pink, that was one of this week's festival chests! They are only available now ^ ^)

@Baloneybear The coliseum is HORRENDOUSLY nonsensical, I'm afraid. And also necessary to progressing quickly in Flight Rising. If you just want to do a little better, I've just been using a combination of these two to distribute stat points and it's been working for me so far.

If you want to be really efficient, though, you'll want Sedona or Culex.

Edit: forgot to mention, DON'T buy battlestones unless one of the big guides recommends them. I wasted a lot of money when I first started because I assumed that battlestones would be useful... but most of them are essentially worthless.
