TOPIC | Mire Flier Eliminate not working?
Lately I've been training a dragon up to Level 25 at the same time I level fodder in the Mire. However, I've found that when my trainer tries to Eliminate the Toridaes and Kamaitachis, they survive with a sliver of health.
Here's my current setup:
First slot: Alluvion, the dragon I'm training (lvl 18, 95 STR, 7 INT, 9 AGI, 6 VIT, 49 QCK, 6 DEf, 7 MND; stoned with Scratch, Contuse, Rally, Haste, triple Berserker, double Ambush)
Second slot: fodder dragon
Third slot: Ahsoka, my Mire trainer (done according to Maki's Battlestone guide- 119 STR, 5 INT, 8 AGI, 30 VIT, 64 QCK, 5 DEF, 5 MND; stoned with Meditate, Eliminate, Rally, Haste, Sap, triple Berserker, double Ambush)
The battle starts with Alluvion's two turns followed by Ahsoka's three. I ran through one as an example-
First battle I do as I would with normal double fodder; Alluvion Scratches an enemy to use up her two turns, then Ahsoka Meditates, Hastes, Rallies, and Defends. Enemy takes their turn, then Ahsoka Eliminates both and we move on. Second round I have all Salve Kamaitachis. Alluvion Scratches the first, then- so that I can take out all three in one round of turns- I have her Rally Ahsoka with her second turn. Ahsoka takes down the first two just fine (note that the first one has already been Scratched and the second one is taken down with a Crit), but the third one, who is Eliminated normally with no bonuses, is left with just enough health to stay standing. Ahsoka still has her Rally, so it's not that her Rally ran out, and this has worked fine in the past when Ahsoka is the only dragon taking turns. So what's going on?

@rowanhart

Eliminate users should never be equupped with meditate. It inflicta something like a 75% physical damage penalty for several turns, meaning a physical build like a mire flier will be severely handicapped.

@Rowanhart @SeaCrest

Eliminate builds CAN be done with meditate, you just need to pay attention to when the debuf wears off.

Here's an example turn order(for the trainer dragon) you can use with an meditate + eliminate build:
  1. Meditate
  2. Haste
  3. Rally
  4. Defend [Monsters hit]
  5. Rallied Eliminate

@Rowanhart

Rally buffs STR by Level + 5, you need Level 25 Rally Eliminate to one-shot all the monsters (except bosses); Alluvion is only Level 18.

@Anourou
Yep, that's the build I use! :D

@Maki
Ahh, okay. I'll stick to Ahsoka Rallying herself then. Thanks! (And your Coli guides are a huge help, by the way, thank you so much for making them.) <3
