I was wondering: how long would it take for me to earn 2 billion treasure? Consider saving up all of my items + currency + dragons for a long time.. selling all hatchlings, g&g Max, Coli farming, training, hmmmmmmm—-props if you know what I want to buy~

@arrowXflight if you ONLY do the Fairgrounds Lucky Streak and get Tomo's questions correct each day (78kT per day), that puts you at about 25,641 days, or ~70 years.

calculating anything related to Coliseum/dragons/item selling is highly variable and depends on exactly where you're Coli farming, what you're trying to sell and whether or not it does, and also doesn't account for potential market impacts (ex. old items suddenly being required for new Baldwin recipes/Swipp trades). best you can do is figure out how much you earn per day doing regular FR activities, do that for several days, then find an average to use in calculations rather than the flat 78kT value.

as a sidenote, i can only guess that you're attempting to chase a Boolean, but even that is still 800kG/800milT; not even half of 2bil.

@arrowXflight

It depends on how much time you can spend on FR, how much you've already invested in FR (sellable) and if you have other marketable skills (art, off-site currency, RL money to buy gems). Oh, and how much you're going to spend on general stuff you don't intend to resell later.

Start out by figuring your average daily income less expenses and then divide 2 billion by that. You should give yourself about a 10% margin of error given unexpected windfalls/expenses and the g:t ratio.

I did a little math for myself and determined it would take just over 4 years if I stopped buying accents but didn't liquidate anything I already own. Selling spares (items only) would probably take a year and a half off.

edit: ninja'd!

I want to live in Theory. Everything works there.

Have you checked the Gem MP for Gene and Breed scrolls before buying an AH listing from me ending in 5g?
Let's say you exalt dragons at level 7 for 11250 treasure each after buying them for 6.5kt each. 100 exalted dragons a day = 1,112,500t per day = 7,875,000t per week, minus the initial cost of dragons (650kt) = 462,500 profit per day = 3,237,500 profit per week.

50 dragons a day = 1,,618,750 profit per week.

Alternate: Max out your lair, dedicate 500 slots to fodder flipping, buy and sell 100 hatchlings a day (5 days, 500 slots, 100 per day). Buy at 5kt, sell at 7kt, make 200kt per day/1,400,000 profit per week. (6.5kt is the current, but let's adjust for fluctuations and assume 7kt as an average).

Add Fairgrounds max and you get +525kt per week.

With those alone you would get 2,143,750 profit per week with exalting or 1,925,000 per week with flipping. It would take you 932 weeks with the exalting method or 1039 weeks with the flipping method.

So, 18-20 years.

Let's say you somehow, remarkably, double those profits by whatever else you manage to do--still 9-10 years.

Let's say, instead, you become an accent artist. Sell accents at 500g apiece. At 2500g profit per run (10 copies), assuming that 1g = 1000t, you could net 2.5mil profit per 10. Sell an average of 20 copies per accent, and make an average of one accent per week, that's 5mil per week, and you're down to 400 weeks to 2b (still 8 years).

Aim for a Boolean (800m) with the accent method and you can get there in 160 weeks (3 years). 114 weeks if you combine accent making with hatchling flipping and fairgrounds maxing (2 years). Less after liquidating your hoard. 2b would still take over twice that amount of time, at least four years.

Unless you can find some sort of extremely profitable niche, it would be quicker to spend a year off of FR working on digital art skills so that you can make nice accents (and maybe take commissions) rather than try to make it work by just playing FR.

Imp scrolls/gen 1 imps aren't really a feasible goal at this point, but if you are serious about the goal, I would really suggest the art route (especially since your profile says you are an aspiring artist). Work hard on digital art skills, learn techniques that would support the detail work in accents, and you'll come out of this with not only your end goal but greatly improved skills and a whole boatload of great artwork. If you decide you no longer want to pursue your goal, you probably won't be upset with the skills and works that you've made along the way. (I also don't imagine that coli, fairgrounds, and/or dragon flipping every day for 4-8 years would be good for one's mental health.)
