I won't buy a familliar unless they're around 4000 treasure.
But I tend to trade familiars uncaring of their price difference.

I would not buy them for more then they are in the Market place. which I think is around 12k-16k. But I also am not looking to buy as I'm saving up for dragons.
And I think the 4k I look for in the acution house might not suit your selling need.
