Hello Hello, Lo here looking to let my Gilded Crown go finally. Since I'm leaving for the most part I don't want to hoard it here, but I also don't care to hoard items or currency either, so I'm 'selling' this item for art of my original characters!

I've been tracking a few recent auctions and sales of this item, it being KS apparel, and I've figured the current approximate going rate is somewhere between 100kG to 200kG
I'm valuing it at around 100-120k G pure. To get an idea of the value art-wise you can look at the cost of gems in USD which is $1≈100G BUT considering value is kind of inflated, especially when you're looking at the time and effort it takes to do artwork, I'll be valuing it quite a bit less just to be a little more reasonable for you guys.
WITH THAT SAID I do have a few guidelines I ask that you read through before offering:

[*] Please do not offer if you are not confident in your time and workload management. I have had these sort of large time-based or large work based things fall through before and it's rather frustrating on both ends. Keep in mind if you back out partway through I cannot split the item in half for you- You need to be capable and willing to go from start to finish with this, please. Keep in mind though that I'm going to be patient with this! I'm an artist myself and understand things like other work, school, health and everything else, so as long as I'm kept up to date with things I will be understanding!
[*] I am open to many different art styles as well as mediums (this includes traditional work and plushes/sculptures, if physical art items are even allowed as trade offers idek anymore I haven't been around lately lol). I am not looking for written work or graphics, apologies.
[*] I'm letting you guys value your art how you feel is fair to you. I know artwork gets underpriced based on how long it may take you sometime, so please value your art how you feel is fit. Be confident in what you're willing to offer, I do not feel comfortable pricing people's art myself, only you know how long a piece takes for you to make.
[*] Please be comfortable in drawing a variety of themes and characters, my characters range from quads to anthro to humans, monsters, animals, and more. If there is a subject you are uncomfortable with please let me know in your offer (such as, gore, demons, mechs) because I have many characters of different types (see the below post for examples). Basically if you are exclusively a quad or dragon artist I might be a little hesitant with your offer, as many of my characters are anthro.
[*] If you are not that easy to contact on Flightrising please give me alternative ways to contact you! If I lose contact with you for an extended period of time without knowing why I will retain the right to cancel the trade.

Once I pick someone I'll contact them regarding their offer. We will discuss the details until we're both happy with something. We will also discuss how the trade will progress, aka when I will be handing over the crown and all. I don't know at this time exactly when I will be choosing but hopefully it won't be that long.

Serious question here, why don't you just sell the crown for cold, hard, dragon cash and then head over to art sales? Even you only sell the crown for 70kg, you could probably get a lot more art, or maybe host an art contest? To spread the workload a bit, and not burn out a singular artist.

@Lowkey I see you've pinged some people in particular so I hope I'm not wading in here unexpectedly! I have a link to my art shop in my signature which has some examples of previous commissions, ranging from logos to a full piece with background. I'd be happy to draw any of the characters you've posted examples of, but I especially like the Honey Pot Mutant.
I'm a bit unsure about estimating how many pieces I could offer - I suppose it would depend on whether or not there were backgrounds involved and how complex they were, but they would be finished line full-colour even if they were character-only pieces (which is what most people have requested from me in the past). I guess the best way would be if you decided my style of drawing was what you were after, we could discuss what you'd like.

@Inquirable The KS market has been a little slow lately in regards to pure, plus from tumblr I've gotten quite a bit of interest from artists. I value in pure around 140kG but in regards to art I view the value much much lower because as an artist myself I understand the work and time it takes.
I'd rather pick one artist I trust than commission multiple, especially considering most artists take only USD commissions (at least a lot of the ones I'm interested in) or are very rarely open and slots go too quickly for someone like me who only checks FR a couple of times a month. Not to mention many people in Art Sales are only interested in dragon FR dragons, and I have no use for FR dragon art anymore.
I don't like hosting contests for such a singular high value item because it feels pretty crappy to have to only pick one person out of potentially many entries. I feel a little like I'm cheating people for my own gain in that regards.
