hello! i have this skin, a Waiting by TalaTari, which i've had for a while, but despite trying to have it on dragons, i just don't think i can keep it (it's less the art and more "i don't like male tundras" skdjghsd). but, last i was told, it's a custom (i believe a personal piece?) and i was wondering how it would be priced?
i know custom pieces can get pretty expensive, so i don't want to over or undersell ^^ any information would be beneficial to me. thank you so much!

Gem MP for Gene and Breed scrolls before buying an AH listing from me ending in
5g?

Nightwind ah yep, 850g sounds familiar - thank you for finding that for me! though i was more curious on how it affects its value, being a retired custom (i believe it was a personal custom for the artist that they shared?). i know some customs go a few thousand gems and talatari seems decently popular as far as i know?

It all depends on desirability and how deep people's pockets are. Talatari is popular, a regular winner or runner-up in the festival contests but is currently on hiatus again so their work isn't as visible. Unfortunately, much like dragons it's all subjective value.
I'd estimate somewhere in the 3-5k range based on her other work but it's hard to say. Short of running an auction (which is always tricky to get eyes on) your best bet is to toss it up on the AH for something just shy of outrageous and regularly bump a sales thread.
Drop the price by a hundred gems or so every week or so until it sells or it hits your personal "I won't sell for less" amount.

Nightwind i appreciate the ballpark & analysis! thank you very much ^u^ <3 i'll probably do something along those lines! i believe GASP lets you ping for resales above 1.5kg...? (dunno why there's a limit...) so maybe i could ping them if i auction or sell

Yes, GASP does have a resell ping list. The reason for the limit is to cut down on the number of pings people on that list get. It sort of cuts out all the pings for accents/skins that are readily available on the AH and assures the seller that they're pinging people who are prepared to pay a lot immediately instead of the eternal lookie-loos.
