Many years back when I was a wee newbie, and the site was still stumbling around on its baby legs, I happened upon a most curious creature. This little animal was one not much unlike one I had come across in my childhood, and was well documented in a charming book entitled plainly, "Cat Wings". It was the most simple and utterly adorable little cat, who seemed to have sprouted some lovely feathered wings. Some quick research led me to the knowledge that it was called, logically, a Skycat. Immediately enthralled by the nostalgic feeling it gave me, as well as just the sheer sweetness in its face, I clumsily stumbled towards it. Of course, back then I had no real idea how to go about interacting with such a novel creature, and I was not careful in my approach. And unfortunately, this is where the heartwarming tale ends. The Skycat allowed me to get incredibly close, and I reached my hand out to pet it, but just then the sweet little devil up and stole my heart right out of my chest and took off with it!!! Ever since then, I've been wistfully returning to the place where I last saw the little kitten, hoping one day it would return and offer me not only my heart back, but its presence and affection in my lair.... But it's been years. And I've only seen the faintest evidence of it, proving little more than that it still exists. And so, I've come to the conclusion that I must go after it the hard way, in order to get my heart back, and show the Skycat the love it deserves; a forever home in my peaceful, cat-loving lair, to be pampered and cared for for the rest of its days. I know Skycat wrangling isn't something anyone does out of charity, due to the great difficulty these quick and crafty little animals present, and so that is where my quest begins: to raise a considerable bounty for the return of the Skycat![/i] [center][img]https://66.media.tumblr.com/aa5c0d11068f10de92c1e34daaefd766/tumblr_o1zrsv44JN1ufdm5xo1_400.png[/img] Sorry, I couldn't possibly pass up the opportunity to get creative with my backstory for deciding to raise funds for one of these guys :P Here in this thread, I will be recording the weekly progress I have made towards the "bounty" for the Skycat, aka the pure currency I have to offer to purchase one! My goal is to have 150,000 gems to offer for the Skycat, and I'm going to set a tentative completion goal date for Summer of 2019, though depending on how much free time I get over holiday break, that is pretty lenient and likely to change. As I work through this, I'll try to make this post a bit more fun and pretty... Maybe. We'll see. I've never done one of these before lol. But I'm interested to see what my progress will be like! I started my journey on November 1, 2018, with a total of [b]10,940,243 treasure and 32,045 gems[/b], which I had saved somewhat casually since I started playing! I've had very few big projects since I joined, and only had a few more expensive art pieces commissioned, so this pretty much reflects what I've just passively collected. I do have a number of Sprites and 2013 fest apparel that I've yet to liquidate, as well as a good stash of Scattersights, but I'm just waiting for the right time and the right offer to let go of those! This was a popular week for converting treasure to gems, so not all of the profit is really truly profit, but eh I'll take it! I wasn't a huge fan of the items this festival, which is good and bad; I ended up doing a lot of grinding this week for holiday currency, almost entirely to sell. Other than that, I just kept up with my dailies~ Start: 32,045g End: 43,527g [b][size=4]Profit: + 11,482g[/size][/b]

Sure! ^^ And best of luck on your Bone Fiend hunt too!! I think saving up for big stuff is honestly so much fun, it really keeps interest in FR over the long term!
