[center][u][size=6][b]April Mass-Savings Quest[/b][/size][/u] [emoji=planet] I'm making an effort to save as much treasure and gems as possible over this coming month! I'm very bad with impulse shopping, and I already have too many unfunded projects as is. So I'm going to be following these rules I've set for myself in order to save my funds:[/center] [list] [*][color=teal] Everything I earn will get vaulted immediately. [*][color=teal] No purchasing of dragons, genes, apparel, etc. unless there is a time constraint. (i.e. a limited time item or something of limited quantity). [*][color=teal] Try not to miss doing dailies. (Gathering turns, Fairgrounds, Bonding, etc.) [*][color=teal] I'd like to try and reopen my art shop, so that I can start taking commissions again. I may open a temporary shop as part of this challenge. [*][color=teal] Fodder train for profit. I will be breeding my own fodder and using the dragons I have stored in my Hibernal Den. [*][color=teal] I am permitted to buy one Roundsey ticket per new raffle. (What can I say? I like testing my luck, haha) [*][color=teal] I am also permitted to take out funds to create items at Baldwin's, so long as they are going to be sold for profit. [*][color=teal] Wavecrest is an exception to all of these rules. Since Water is my home flight, I may end up wanting to collect some of the skins. It will all depend on when it gets here, more than anything! [/list] [center]I don't have a specific goal in mind for my earnings. If I'm able to do G&G every day I'll have over 2mil treasure by the end of the month just from my Lucky Streak alone. My one, for certain goal is to reach an ancient lair size, which I only need one more expansion for. G+G may get a bit boring, but it's hard to complain when you can get 75kt in 15-20 minutes. [*][color=teal]Imbued Sulfur sells pretty well. Note to self. [*][color=teal]I had some jaguar tundras in my den and exalted them for a decent bonus. [*][color=teal]April Fools happened! I probably should have sold my craft kit the day of, when it was more valuable. It's nothing too substantial, of course, and I'm glad to have another useful dragon for that project, but I'm still going to try to maintain self control and avoid the AH unless I am looking up sales prices. I've been updating the spreadsheet as I go, but haven't been able to post here all that often. I know there's some discrepancy between my vault's total and the spreadsheet's, since it's hard to remember to log [i]every[/i] single thing, but it's not all that far off. (but it wasn't by a lot) [*][color=teal]I sold a couple dragons, as well as an onyx grasp for a decent amount. Two of my hatches are being held for a friend. [*][color=teal]I made 150kt just by hoardselling a bunch of useless items, which really surprised me. I had no idea I was sitting on so much money... Two was because I was tired and passed out, and the third was because I forgot about rollover until it was too late OTL [*][color=teal]I made a couple of dumb purchases... whoopsies [*][color=teal]I've currently taken out 200kt and 200g of my profits to fund my attending for Water's dom push this week. Because I figure I'm not going to make any more significant earnings by the end of today, I'm going to wrap up this quest here. I think it went very well! [size=4][b]Profits/Reflections:[/b][/size] [list] [*][color=teal]Though I ended up losing gems while attending, I made a lot of profit in treasure (over 1.7 mil!!!) [*][color=teal]I sold some apparel pieces that were sitting in my hoard, as well as another copy of my accent [*][color=teal]Hoardselling is a lot more profitable than I realized [*][color=teal]Unsurprisingly, almost all of my gem earnings were made by selling stuff. I earned 3k gems from that alone! [/list] [size=4][b]Expenses/Losses:[/b][/size] [list] [*][color=teal]I got a bit lazy with G+G and missed several days. I've been under the weather and really tired the past few days. [*][color=teal]I spent 1.6kt total on two lair expansions during Wavecrest. This is excused because it was my primary reason for doing this. [*][color=teal]I did lose a little bit of money brewing fest currency, but didn't document it because it was such a little amount. [/list] ----- According to my spreadsheet, I earned a total of 5036544t and 3551g during this month. After subtracting my expenses and adding it to my starting amount, I ended with the following amount of each in my vault.
