You don't have to worry about perfect syntax (although, as with everything, submitting your best work is recommended). I enjoy writing, reading, drow, Buce Campbell, and Vegeta from Dragonball Z. I've been writing since I was in grade school, back before the Internet was created. I've been roleplaying...also before the Internet was created, when BBS systems were the only way to "get online". I'm an oldie from the Dragonball Z fandom who has dabbled in the Buffy fandom as well. I'm currently working on an original novel with the help of several NaNoWriMo's. In fact, last year, I actually won my first 50k NaNo! I shall be rping with Turles. He's a happy-go-lucky Dragon Pirate who roamed the seas before finding a home with Letac and Toma's clan. He's a bit twitchy, but he's a good soul.

Landing in a cloud of dust and kicking up rocks and plants in his wake, a purple-bodied, yellow-winged mirror landed in front of a cave, tripping over his tail as his claws dug into the soil and almost sending himself head over heels. Instead, he accomplished a strange four-step, sidling to the side and almost running into a rocky face of the cliff he'd landed in front of. He laughed, ruffling his wings on his back and letting his tongue loll out a bit.

Shaking his entire body to straighten his purple cape, he cleared a dragony throat and stepped into the cave carved into the side of the cliff. The inside was lit warmly with a fire pit in the center of a large room that contained...many corners. This was good, since he knew people in taverns liked to occupy shadowy corners, and the firelight perfectly made these!

He didn't occupy one of these corners. No, instead he moved toward the fire. There were a couple pots on spits hung over it, holding both drink and food fit for dragons who wanted to come in out of the cold.
