My swan song, my last hurrah, the [s]deneu[/s] [s]denoew[/s] denouement of my time on Flight Rising! Let's go out with a bang instead of a whimper. [center][b]THE RULES[/b] Please read the rules before doing anything. Read all the rules. Then read the rules again if you're confused about something. If you have a question, refer to the FAQ before pinging me. 1. To avoid mass confusion and getting buried under a tidal wave of notifications, I will be pinging a handful of you at a time to play. If you haven't gotten your ping, be patient. The game isn't going to move fast but I WILL get to everyone. This will never work if I try to handle you all at once. 1.[b]a The mass ping on the sign-up thread from whence you followed this URL doesn't count. That was simply to alert you that the rules were up for review. You will be receiving a second ping in groups of 20 or so for the actual game. [/b] 2. There are 500 numbers, each with a question mark beside them (broken up over several posts so they load easier). Pick your favorite number to reveal your prize. 3. If you don't like your prize (or you just want to press your luck) you may choose again, but you [b]must[/b] take what is behind the second question mark, [b]no exceptions[/b]. Even if you liked your first prize better. 4. Once you claim a prize the question mark turns into an icon and that number becomes inactive. Do not pick numbers with icons next to them. Even nice icons. 5. Pick numbers with questions marks next to them, not icons. Numbers with icons have already been claimed. 6. I mean it. 7. Anyone who picks an item instead of a question mark will have their dragon snoot smacked with a rolled-up newspaper and told to re-read rules 2-6. 8. Items that are passed over will be reshuffled back into the prize pool and assigned a new number. This is to preserve the mystery (it's no fun if everyone already knows what's behind box #4). 9. One prize per player. 10. In the event 2 people claim the same number, it will be given to the person who posted first. 11. Your fee of one copper muck and one grey slime will be due when you receive your prize at the crossroads. I will set up all crossroads trades; you just sit back and wait for the goodies. 12. Not all items have the same value. They're all nice prizes, but some are more nice than others. Choose wisely. 13. No complaining, no whining, no fighting, no hand puppets. [b]Q: [/b][b]Including bears?[/b] [b]A:[/b] No, **** the bears. [b]Q:[/b] [b]Are there any kickstarter items?[/b] [b]A:[/b] No, stop asking. There are exactly as many prizes as players so we aren't going to run out. That being said, with everyone having one chance to switch numbers fortune slightly favors the people going first so if there is a player you trust to pick for you let me know so I can ping them. What you do with your thing after you get it is your business. If players want to swap prizes between themselves they can, just do the bulk of your negotiating via pm so we keep the thread from getting cluttered up.
