Brightly coloured Snappers attend stalls, tables and tents, and the scents of incense and delicious baking mingle together in your nose. Dragons and Beastclan alike mingle together, the whole place buzzing with excitement! The castle sways and shifts as the creature beneath it gets herself comfortable. As you watch, she slowly stretches out of her shell and blinks in the bright sunlight, before wiggling her antennae in a pleased manner and tucking back into the shade. This must be Snastle, the Snail Castle! Are the fabled Snailith eggs here? Perhaps you should investigate further…[/i] Welcome to the Festival of Snails! This is a player-made interactive lore event, think along the lines of the flight festivals![/size][/center]

So, a clean 2 weeks! (because I'm not as efficient as Joxar.) [*]The entire thing is not-for-profit: It's just for fun and community spirit, and it can all be done without any gems or treasure. If by some miracle the raffle makes more than what was put into the event, the excess will go into a bonus raffle prize! [*]This forum is the main hub and contains links to all festival activities! Please feel free to ping your friends here or use this thread to keep a post to track your participation. [*]Below is a list of events which include everything from art and writing contests to forum games! [*]Incentives to participate include prizes in pure gem currency, badges, raffle prizes and closed species characters! Most contests give tickets just for having a go. [*]The festival currency is snail and geode items, see below. [*]For the sake of fairness, there are ways for players to participate in all aspects without the official festival currency, but it is the cheapest/easiest way for sure. [*]Please be kind, this is all hosted by one person and (unless this event is a total flop) I might be pretty busy! [*]For this reason, please please read the rules carefully for each event, I won’t be able to chase people around to fix their entries. [*]This festival is 100% for fun! With all events I don’t mind if your entries are masterpieces or MS paint monstrosities, just have some fun and participate and I’ll give you tickets, even the events with skill-based prizes still get tickets for having a go! [*]This runs on an honour system for entry, but there will be some checks when prizes are drawn: if winners lied about participation they’ll be skipped without notice (So don’t delete your posts!). [*]The gem/blueprint prizes for the contests are chosen by me because I’m all there is running this. Those ARE skill based and if I decide on multiple winners I’ll add extra prizes, not split the main one. [*]If it does eventuate that someone tries to participate that I have blocked, I'm sorry but participation will be impossible as I won't be able to see your entries on the threads, and you won't be able to send me messages or CRs. Her shell forms the castle in which a clan of Snappers live while they tour around Sornieth.
