Well, it is a fun alternative to a raffle! Instead of tickets entering you for a chance to win a place in the raffle, a ticket purchase will give you a chance to win a specific prize. The idea is to increase the chances you'll win a prize you want and completely negate any chance to win a prize you don't care for.
