The last thing you remember, you were curling up in your lair to doze off. A gentle breeze brushed past the cave's mouth, bringing with it the distant scent of wet leaves and a faint aroma of smoke. Tonight, though, the wind brought another scent, something metallic - at first weak but growing stronger and stronger until you were choking on it-
And then, unceremoniously, you were dumped onto an ashen forest floor. You opened your eyes to see a leafless, black-trunked woods surrounding you as far as you could see in the choking darkness. This had to be a dream. You pinched yourself - nope, still in the forest. It was almost like the Scorched Forest but these trees weren't burned. They were... desiccated, you realized, as you dragged your claws over the bark of the nearest tree and watch it flake away. Drained. What happened here?
And that's when you hear something scrape against the too-dry bark not far away. You listen, and the sound repeats, closer. Something's coming.
What will you do?
1. Run away without looking
2. Hide behind a tree and try to see what's approaching
3. Freeze

Seabreeze wasn't a dragon that easily startled, so waking up in a hideous ashen forest with no rhyme or reason as to how he got there didn't make him nervous. He gingerly scraped some bark off of a nearby tree and watched as it peeled way all too easily under his claws.
"Hmm, how strange." He murmured under his breath. Just what had happened here?
Then he heard it. The nasty scraping sound that was fast approaching his location. He presumed that whoever was making that noise wasn't friendly or here to help him get out of this hideous wasteland. As much as his gut was telling him to run, he surmised that it would at least be advantageous to see what he was up against. So he hid behind the nearest tree careful as to not make a sound that would betray his position or intentions.

Xiang was not usually one to back away, but now he was in an unfamiliar environment so he decided to play it safe and run, not wanting to end up in more danger then he already was.

Europa was curious as to what had happened. She wouldn't run, no way, but she had to take some cover to see what she was up against... [/s]
