It's not fully fleshed out and might not even work, but if it [i]could[/i] it would be amazing. I'm all for spreading kindness and cheer, it's like my only personality trait. If I were in a book, I would be a flat character who gave an arm and a leg for the main character. But yeah, it's really important. Anyways, I had flashbacks to [url=http://www1.flightrising.com/forums/frd/2562909/1#post_2562909]Lallie's December Kindness Challenge[/url] and thought, what if I did something like that? Although, with a little twist. To be honest, I've had this idea since I first started ARK. Like what if the winners got entered in an exclusive raffle? However, I didn't like that. EVERYONE should be allowed to enter a raffle to be kind-whether or not we had the room to choose them. Lallie's challenged showed me that it was possible, and I've furiously been planning it since. For however long it runs, there would be a daily raffle/daily challenge (much like the SS raffle) which are simple little things to bring up someone's day. "Draw a picture or write something (no skill required :P)" or "send a stack of food to someone!" These would give 1 entry to the daily raffle for X amount of times you do it (no daily limit) and Y amount of tickets for doing it (max of Y tickets per day, regardless of how many you do). The main way to get tickets would be to gift items to other users. Providing a screenshot of the gift will allow me to give you tickets. It would be the (value of the item/5,000t) = # of tickets. Honestly anything would be okay to gift, although there might be some no-nos, but now with HD even the most common stuff has HIGH value now. [i]Tickets always round up. (unless it's x.1 in that case it's a case by case scenario).[/i] ARK awarded members can get free tickets. People can put badge in their sig for free tickets. Donations prior to the raffle starting would give tickets to. Probably (value of the item/5,000 x 1.5. Free tickets can be rewarded too. Uhh and probably some can be bought (would be capped though). I think it could be really fun, and for the most part I would fund all the prizes. It would take a few weeks to get up and running and get all the kinks worked out. [b]Problems:[/b] - Screenshots can be faked. Unfortunately, this can't be prevented. I mean seriously, are you going to be a jerk and tarnish a raffle about kindness by being a liar? - Prizes. Not a main problem, I've got $$ (mostly Light Sprite Funds but uhhhh tbh I've mostly given up on that as prices keep rising). Only thing I can't really do is level dragons, but I can find others for that. Mainly it's finding time to gather it all. - Interest. That's the main one. It might be too complex for some people, especially with the whole having to provide proof you gifted something for tickets. I'm interested in doing an ARK/Kindness Raffle, as the first post states and explains. I figured since you are all on the ARK list you could give me some insight and some ideas for it! Ty all!

I would love this!! Both to participate and contribute if I can (if I can only do either or then I would contribute to running it).

I can donate prizes and offer service prizes like a free commission or training someone's derg.

(Also, I have a ton of g1's in my lair right now from a mass hatch I did on Valentine's Day and I would be happy to pluck one of the prettiest out, gene it up and donate it as a prize. :D)

@TempestOfStorm I actually had an idea for something like this a while ago! I would love to see something like this, and maybe the ARK mods could help run it? I would love to help out, and I have funds for prizes too ^^

Sounds like fun, I have zero experience in holding raffles but tons of experience in gifting ^^
Would the screenshots have to be sent in daily? That's what would really hamper my gifting. Due to time and always being on mobile. If they could be sent in maybe twice a week, as long as the date is showing on them. That would be awesome!
