My cat was gone for almost 2 days, which is very unusual for her. But she has returned and I'm so relieved now! To celebrate this, I want to hold a small raffle with the dragon below. :)
Longer Version: I've been together with my cat Hexe for more than half of my life, she just turned 16 now. Originally, she was my parents' cat but when I moved out, I took her with me because she's so shy and anxious and I was the only one she really trusted. But two nights ago she didn't return for dinner, which was unusual because she's not very adventurous. In fact, she stays inside most of the time and when the weather is nice, she's sometimes outside during daytime and lying around in the garden. But she always stayed super close to the house and I've never seen her outside the garden. My girlfriend an me searched her for hours but we couldn't find her. We did everything we could, but nobody of our neighbors had seen her. I've never been so desperate before, this cat means so much to me. I always wanted her to be safe and happy because almost everything makes her nervous or frightens her. But after the second night, I woke up when I heard her meowing. Her son also lives with us, but I immediately knew it was her because of her high voice. It made me so happy! I got up, petted her, and gave her food. She was so hungry and thirsty that I think she was locked up in a garage or somewhere where the owner didn't immediately notice. After that she hopped into my bed with me, curled herself up right next to me and started to relax. Her tail was still twitching and she was super nervous, but after a while she started purring and became calmer and calmer. Whenever I moved a bit in bed, she moved with me to always have direct body contact. This is very unusual, because when I go to bed, she always comes for a short cuddling session and then moves on to her favorite basket. Seeing her like this made me so happy because it seems like she feels safer and more comfortable right next to me than anywhere else. :) After I woke up, she was still sleeping right next to me. I'm so relieved!

Hope she doesn't run off like that again. I could only imagine how stressful it was to have your pet disappear like that. 
Maybe you should visit the vet to be sure she didn't pick up any parasites and stuff outside.
