Official Dark Sclera Necromancer Lore
A dragon's eyes are the most obvious mark of their flight allegiance, so it is jarring indeed to see that holy color surrounded by the blackness of the Shade. Distrusted, shunned, persecuted, dragons that develop Dark Sclera are often doomed to a life of loneliness and forced flight.
Not even Necromancers can escape that taint, though unlike their untested brethren they can rise above it. Despite intense research and magical inquiry, it is not entirely clear why a dragon develops Dark Sclera, though rumor and hearsay on the subject runs rampant. If a Necromancer, Necroservus, or Wraith develop Dark Sclera during their trials it is often whispered that they entered into an unholy alliance with the Shade to save themselves and succeed. A Ghoul is twice-damned, the Dark Sclera pointed to as both the reason for their failure and Mother's judgement of their betrayal.
But despite the added burden of social persecution, Dark Sclera brings with it many gifts as well. A dragon so benighted can see beyond the normal light spectrum, experiencing colors, sub-colors, and ultra-colors that defy their ability to describe. One who has undergone the trials receives an additional gift: the ability to see disease and infection, both the location in the body as well as its virility. It is a tempting gift to any Necromancer, so when one of long-standing suddenly develops a darkened gaze it brings with it inevitable suspicion.

Official Dark Sclera Necromancer Lore

Not sure if it's ok to post (assuming so due to the ping)
They say that the world isn't for the faint of heart, but not for this either.
Some join the trials for fame, some for the ability to help, some to do harm, and greed; but what if it was insanity? When a Necromancer rise with spiral eyes, you must keep your distance. They might show aggressive behaviors; not every insane is dangerous, but do you even want to risk it?
No? Good, your not one of them.
There is some beauty from this; as they try to tell their stories, everything about it seems magical. There are still plenty of things to learn.
The insane are try to find something; love? Accepting dragons? To not feel forgotten or useless?
Who knows, what ever it is, I hope that they find it.
(I will understand if this doesn't win, I'm not the best story teller. But I like doing this for fun and practice. I also put some of myself, for example; I'm not really sure what I'm looking for myself.)

Spiral Eyes, an eye type that a Necromancer must acquire by means that many would not understand.
But to a particular Clan hiding among the Shadows of Shadowbinder’s territory, the Swirling eyes emit fear, for only the insane and broken Necromancers bestow them. Necromancers with Swirl eyes have lost most, if not all of their sanity to the powers they hold. Whatever they were before their powers took over is gone, and nothing but a beast with the ability to almost wipe out a Clan remains.
At least, that’s what's told in stories about an Imperial with the power of Flames destroying a Clan before taking over.
While Swirl eyes do show that a Necromancer has lost sanity, it does not mean the sanity can be returned, or even saved.
What many don’t know, is that there is a way for the host to take control again, to regain who they once were. And while the hypnotic eyes do stay, they do not swirl around. A Necromancer who has gained their sanity back will have the eyes remain still, no movement coming from them. They will not swirl around and spin in a hypnotic motion, unlike their insane counterparts.
But that’s just a myth, right?

@TheCell I'm probably gonna be adding to this a little over the next week or so but here's my old idea for Swirl again.
Swirl
The result of reaching too far with magic in the midst of conflict, Swirl-eyed dragons have forged a connection to their magic not dissimilarly to Glow-eyed dragons. There is, however, a distinct difference. Glow-eyed dragons have punched through the barriers limiting what they can do, and immersed themselves wholly in their new capability. Swirl-eyed dragons, however have instead... stretched their connection, so to speak, and warped it's shape. Thus, while their magic is strong, it is often altogether too easy for them to get lost within the twisting paths of their own magic.
(For some, these paths can become learned, and they may become skilled at unblocking the damaged magic of other dragons. In others, however, it may trap them in madness and magic, making them far more dangerous than they may otherwise be.)

No one can live your life for you. That means they can't tell you who you are - what you are - either. Question others. Question yourself. Come to your own conclusions.
Spirals have long fascinated dragons with an eye for geometry. There's just something about them that's mysterious and it's strange that you can find spirals in nature, in flowers, shells, and... dragon's eyes. The spirals in Necromancers' eyes aren't as regular, but that only makes them more fascinating.
Necromancers with swirl eyes find it easy to captivate others. Other dragons often end up staring at them, unable to look away. Thus, Necromancers often have the easiest time catching others unaware or make them lower their guards. They find it easiest to sweet talk their way into a clan of their choice.
Swirl-eyed dragons are said to be shapeshifters. That's only a myth, but it is true that they can be very adaptable in coming across the way they want to. When dragons look into their eyes, they look back. This makes them seem almost psychic in their ability to see what others are thinking and what they want.
On the other hand, swirl-eyed dragons have a strong mind. Just like a spiral has its center, they can be adaptable and restless but they don't waiver. At the end of the day, they know who they are and what they want. Getting to know a swirl-eyed dragon can be difficult because you can't be sure you're getting to the core of their personality.
Because of these characteristics, these Necromancers can be envoys to the most distrustful clans to do the Plaguebringer's bidding. They also often find themselves in roles where they need to be strong and yet understand others, such as advisors or healers.

[item=vial of hypnotic sight]SWIRL[item=vial of hypnotic sight]
To a Necromancer, swirling eyes are a disease all their own.
Swirling eyes, pulslating in and out, perpetually moving in a hypnotic circle of self-induced insanity. Yes, those Necromancers with swirl eyes have entered an eternal dance with their power, one that cannot be broken free of so simply. They are captivated by what they can do, fully hypnotized by the power they have. Dragons that pass the trials with ease and time to spare are at higher risk of developing this eye type, barring Primals which are their own bubble, however it may happen to any Necromancer. Oftentimes they will not even realize what has happened to their mind, and can continue their life as if they are not a puppet of their abilities.
Their abilities may be heightened, yes, for their stronger connection to the Plaguebringer. However, it becomes more difficult for a swirl Necromancer to control their augmented abilities. A simple infection caused by them may turn into a total pandemic, likewise healing may become difficult as their mind is lost to the magic. As the dragon ages, they may regain control, or they may continue to gradually descend deeper into madness before becoming something hideously Ghoulish. What this abomination would be called is unknown, but it infects and cures without control of itself. Thankfully this occurrence is unheard of, however some have surely gotten close to that point. On the other hand, a Necromancer that manages to free themself from this cycle will have power that could rival that of a Primal. Another blessing from the Plaguebringer, for overcoming a secret fourth trial? Who knows.
An interesting thing about this "Swirl madness" is that it cannot be cured by any Necromancer other than the self. It isn't really a disease, though I have described it as one, and it does have disease-like characteristics. If it is to be considered a secret fourth trial, then is must be completed without help, just like the first three.
