This is a plot tracker for all events related to Starbones in-universe. Affiliated clans can use this to keep an eye on their hatchlings/friends/mates within Starbones, get updates on IC events (major events, requests for aid), initiate roleplays, and/or start drama. We love starting drama.
Starbones goings-on can also be tracked via the Clan Starbones tag on Tumblr.
Affiliated clans are more than welcome to post their own updates as they pertain to the clan, a-la

If you've been friended, consider yourself honorarily affiliated; affiliates should feel free to interact with each other and/or commiserate over which Arcane-eyed dragon is currently ruining their entire clan.

Time in the Isles surrounded by new family has helped to ease the burden of grief, and she recently began exchanging letters with a pearlcatcher from one of Starbones' sister-clans. Apparently time has been well-spent.
Haeln didn't actually ask for this. Well, okay, the bows? The bows he asked for. He takes no issue with the bows; they are very lovely and he enjoys wearing them. Haeln has shown very little aptitude for Arcane magics up to this point, but Bonewarden Ties has noted that nothing about the-- floating space-- rock-- thing seems malevolent, exactly, though he and Narfi both hold distinct reservations against touching it without Haeln's permission. Several of the clan's other Pearlcatchers have expressed similar feelings when confronted with the rock, which they have related to the intimacy of touching another Pearlcatcher's pearl. For all purposes, the rock is now being treated as such.

Clan Starbones is always welcoming of those seeking new journeys from across the Contagion's expanse. In regards to alliance with Starbones:
- Clan Citadel is in diplomatic talks with their neighboring beastclans, and though they cannot allow sacrilege against Gladekeeper in their own territory, they would not outright reject those with more extremist leanings.
- The Citadel has a Plague outcast or two themselves, and would protect many of that sort against Plague clans on principle.
- The Citadel appreciates Starbones' unmilitarized state, and feels that a massive imperial with Guardian bodyguards is exactly the right way to do it. Though Leyline would like to have a long talk with someone about necromancy. ((Not that he has any right.))
- They might pretend that Starbones is more purely arcane. Just, you know--principle.
- They admire your bountiful family! May your branches prosper and your roots stay strong.
- They fully agree that beastclan and familiar species are worthy of respect and freedom.
- (Certain queer/poly members of the council nod approvingly.)
In short, we have no complaints. We may mutter a little about plague contagions, but we also have a few members (Aisling and Omen) who would appreciate a respectable tie back to their plague roots.
And Omen might (if none of the council is watching) be
really interested in those skeletons.

Okay, yes, Leyline will overlook a little necromancy to discuss safe death rituals.
And let's face it, there's just no stopping Omen.

As Haeln has never sired a clutch before, the children will be watched closely to see if they have any similar propensity towards strange magics. However, it is likely such talents-- if they exist-- will not appear until they are much older. The clan is seeking homes for the children that are knowledgeable about the often strange ways of Arcane-born dragons and the development of latent magic.
