Your eyes open slowly, and you blink the sleep away. You're in a cage, a small one, and you can hear various crying and screeching echoing all around you. Where are you? How did you get here? Your head hurts. It feels like you hit it on something. You sit up and gasp suddenly in surprise as you come face-to-face with a dark colored Guardian through the bars.

You either call out to her, or remain in stunned silence.

She looks upon you with stern violet eyes. She lifts her head, a small smile tilting the corner of her mouth upwards. Purple gems lined her figure and wings, a midnight color lining her body in waves, shimmering. Wrapped around her neck is a serpent, a shadow serpent, yellow eyes burning into you as you sit up the rest of the way. You move uneasily backwards until your back is pressed against the bars opposite of those in between you and the Guardian.

"You're finally awake. We have much to discuss."

She holds the aura of power, and her voice certainly confirms that for you. She turns her head toward you, and you notice a deep scar covering her right eye, preventing her from seeing out of it.

"Let's not waste time. Welcome to Wolfe Laboratories. My name is Dr. DiAngelo. You may be wondering why exactly you're here. Well, I'll tell you, little Fae." She smiles at you, but it isn't kind, nor friendly. She stands, and you cower as she towers over your little cage. "You and your kind will be of great use to me in the very near future." She reaches into the cage and caresses your cheek, you shudder. "The device we will soon plant in your brain will make sure of that." She retracts her arm and turns away from you. She starts padding away, calling over her shoulder. "Goodbye, little one. I will see you soon."

Location: Massive underground building. Minimal access to above ground (the lab rats call it Outside). Even if you do manage to get outside, you're thousands of miles from the nearest...anything, really.
Purpose: Scientists are installing robot software in Fae's heads to create a massive army, for the purpose of taking over the world.
Outline: You stay in cages. The scientists test you, poke you and prod you and get information about you. You get a specialized software installed. Then they prepare you. They train you for war. Your only purpose is to kill. Or so they think.

Rules:
1. Follow all Flight Rising site rules and RP forum guidelines.
2. No godmodding/mary sueing...etc.
3. No killing a dragon without the other person's permission.
4. If applying to be a lab rat, dragon must be a Fae.
5. Familiars are allowed only for scientists.
6. Be creative! Scientists are allowed to ally with the Fae's. However, if caught by DiAngelo may be killed, or "removed from service", as Dr. Di likes to call it.
7. You must post at least twice a week. If you go inactive without PMing me a reason, you will be permanently removed from the RP and your spot filled by someone else.
8. There is a limit of 10 experiments and 10 scientists. You may only have one of each. A limit of 2 dragons is in place. You may of course later bring in others if we decide there's another group that comes into play.
9. I can revise and add to these rules at any time.

Before the Lab:
Alkira was well on her way to being a battle trainer. She was skilled, extremely so, and she was putting that toward opening her own.
Short Description of personality:
Alkira is a quirky sky-colored Fae with a passion for battle. She's always dreaming of doing something bigger, better, and often feels her small stature is a barrier between her and everything she's ever wanted. You wouldn't know she feels that way though. Everything about her is bubbly. She is the embodiment of happiness and joy. She likes long naps in the sun and drawing pictures in the sand with her toe, and if you destroy them...well...we won't talk about that.
She hopes her students will laugh and think she is a tiny useless Fae because then---she can prove them wrong. She lives for that moment.

She had a tough childhood. Her father expected a lot of her, and abused her if she wasn't 'good enough'. Her father was the original founder of the lab. He wanted something more. He craved power. She took over when he died, sharing that same passion. She hasn't looked back.

Short Description of personality:
In short- she's ruthless. Emotionless. She has no interest in your personal life or anything about you. She cares about if you do your job, or do your tests loyally. She is rough around the edges...or...well...everywhere. Unlike what most think, she doesn't soften up. Your life means nothing to her, and she will kill you if you get in her way. However, she has soft spots, like everyone else does, and you can do some damage...if you can find them. She's a great leader and fearless in battle.

He was a troublemaker, and quite often the one sent to detention in school. After capture for use in the lab, Circ's body took to the implants in a different way-by projecting the circuitry onto the surface of his skin. Short Description of personality: Troublemaker, carefree attitude. Hates following the rules, but understands why they exist. Has what psychologists call ODD-or Oppositional Defiant Disorder. In other words-whatever the scientists want him to do, is the last thing he ever willingly will. i dont know when the actual rp will begin. im not sure if we want to wait for more people or not. up to you all, really.

She was the bully. This, unfortunately, meant she was without friendship most of the time, but she liked it better that way. No restraint, no boundaries, as far as she was concerned. She accepted the job at the lab as an opportunity not only to exercise power over others, but an opportunity to use her brain for something she found useful. Handler or Tester?: Handler Familiar? Which?: Death's-Head Stag Short Description of personality: Crass, mean, pretentious and constantly in motion. Starbuck cannot think without moving around, pacing, preferably in circles. She likes to pace around things or other dragons, which has been the source of annoyance for many. Her emotions are strong and occasionally blinding. Starbuck is prone to rage and, in extremely rare cases, incapacitating depression where her energy is depleted and her brain is full of fog. At least it's rare.
