The Behemoth aboveground - Gerda and Timothy
The large female widclaw found herself at the base of the tree. Even as a light dragon being above ground was dangerous. Timothy had wanted to though, she watched curiously as the human perched himself on a large branch as if this was his own home. Reading the lines of a new book he had recovered from some ruins. Gerda was on watch, right near their undercover hole that was big enough for any dragon to enter as long as they were careful. Gerda was not the largest of wildclaws, but she knew imperials three times her size who had riders inside of their makeshift group.
"Are you sure you want to be relaxing out here Tim?" Gerda asked, her claws scraping mildly against the huge tree. The green eyed blonde shut his book for a moment looking down on the dragon with a smile. "What if a new member decides to show up, or even better those stupid rascals trying to get rid of us." Timothy responded to her. As she gruffed a little at the rider. Was he nuts, last time that happened he had nearly been eaten by the mirror they had spoken to. Sometime she needed one of the elders to make him a dragon slaying weapon that they took from the centaurs. Rather, they learned to make from the centaurs.

As always he tread far from his homelands. Scouring the land to quench his everlasting thirst for knowledge-- and if only to let more years fleet across his already time-ridden body. Arioch knew much of the land. In fact, there wasn't much of Sornieth he hadn't ventured. While hatchlings spent much of their time bickering over curious little dominance battles and what not, this Imperial spent his time exploring lands and the cultures within them. While he wasn't welcome everywhere, where he was he took it upon himself to acquaint with all the varying flights in the friendliest of fashions. And now-- now he held friends in near every corner of this beautiful world. Of course, such ventures weren't without their lesser means. A sort of side goal for this aged beast was annihilation of a very particular species of humans; Dragon Riders. Even more so, those who fate dare test Arioch's patience by pairing the measly flesh bags with one as mighty as he-- an Imperial. A dragon.
It only occasionally pestered his mind-- as the thought did now. That this order of Riders, Agario as he recalled, had come about in such a creeping and distasteful manner. Back home in the Plague Domain, disease was glorified. He bore a soft spot for them, but this order was like no other disease. It was a true nuisance, and most vile in the great dragon's eyes. Humans on the backs of dragons, fighting alongside them as if they were equals? Disgusting. Humans were flawed and weak and ever so selfish in their need to conquer and destroy. He never did care for them, even in the days of his youth-- which were nothing more than foggy memories to the Imperial now.
No point in letting such common thought fluster him; instead, Arioch focused on the land of green passing quick beneath his mighty wings. Great wings of white stretched wide, casting a mighty shadow across the land below. A number of smaller wings stretched with them, and on the behemoth sailed grand and stoic in his hefty age. Two days ago he'd found himself in the boundaries of the Viridian Labyrinth with intentions to visit an old friend, much to his dismay he found said friend had passed of illness. A shame really, old Eebs had been a playmate when times were hard so many years ago. Now Arioch simply soared the land, admiring it's beauty and keeping an eye out for any creatures of interests in the skies and world below.

Jason walked along a path trying to find his way back to Agario. Jayna skampered up his tail and stopped at his head,
"What is it Jayna?" Jason asked. The Ember Mouse roller her eyes,
"What do you think dumb, dumb? I know the way there." Jayna responded and hopped off his head. Jason followed Jayna through trees and under (over for Jason) logs. Finally Jason saw a large tree with a dragon and human he had only met briefly. Jayna climbed back to Jason's head. Jason approached the leaders of Agario slowly,
"Hello. I'm Jason. We met briefly but I'm terrible with names." Jason said to Agario leaders.

Nightwing pulled on the white wraps covering his legs. They irritated him on occasion when he didn't put them on right, but today he had no time to do it correctly. It was Shantor's birthday today, his 4th to be exact, and he had to get him the perfect gift. So his main mission was to go into town without Shantor noticing and be back in time for the Manticore Screamer to come home. Almost there and Night's wings were growing tired, it was a long distance after all. He landed heavily, and a few other dergs came out to greet him. He'd been gone for a month and a half this time, and they had started to wonder if he would ever come back at all.
"Hi Night!" A perky little guardian called out, "Can I ride on your back?" The little one was just barely a hatchling, lost most of her egg teeth and was looking like a lanky teen. Night sighed, every single time he came here she asked until he agreed, "You may." He lightly said, he was a very quiet dragon. The little one clambered up his forearm and sat between his shoulders, smashing the soft mane there. "Where's the trader?" Night asked curious, he needed to find a good gift for Shantor before daybreak. "Oh you mean the old guy? He's been gone for a couple weeks now... hasn't made it back..." The little guardian said with tears in her eyes, "Everyone thinks he's dead... That something killed him... He's not dead is he?"
"No, no, he's not. He's probably just a little late." Night realized that the sun was shining a little bit above the horizon, he sighed. He would have to stay the night until the trader showed up. Shantor would find him quick enough and he could give him his present then. After he bought it of course. Night itched his wraps and set to taking them off, he had the time now.

The imperial, Serene, had landed in a forest and her rider Erica had gotten off of her. Erica scanned the surrounding area with a puzzled look on her face, "Serene? Where are we?" She asked the large imperial. "Umm.. I thought this was where the base was, I guess I must of been wrong." She replied and turned her head towards her rider "but don't worry! I'm sure we're close by!". Eric put her hand to her face and sighed "you said you knew where you were going." "I know but there is so many trees here, and besides my wings were getting tired" she said huffing and lowering her wings. Erica scowled at her dragon partner before beginning to walk "come on, we haven't got all day" Serene grind and started to skip along beside her partner.
After a few minutes of walking they finally approached the agario. The two of them looked up at the large tree, and there was a wildclaw under it and a human up on one of the branches. "See I told you was right!" Serene exclaimed to her partner. "Of course, come on let's go." As they began to approach them, a different wildclaw went up to the female wildclaw and human male and began talking with them. Erica stopped and put her hand out to stop her companion. "What is it?" Asked serene lowering her head to Erica. "They got here first, so it's rude to just interrupt them" she said back to serene in a low hushed voice. Serene nodded at her rider and waited till the others had finished speaking.

Morgan enjoyed the sensation of the breeze running through her hair and the sun on her skin as she soared above Sorineth on Asha's back, securely strapped in just in case the guardian had to perform any evasive maneuvers. In their travels they had learned some dragons did not take kindly to strangers flying through their territory, and Asha had once nearly dropped Morgan. Benzi flew slightly behind Asha's left wing, making use of the slipstream the large dragon left in the air to conserve energy. His sky-blue stripes sometimes sinking into the surrounding horizon.
As they neared a clearing in a forest Asha began circling, signaling to any below her intent to land and watching for any challenges to her presence. Sensing no one in the immediate area, she landed and folded her wings. Morgan slid off her back and tumbled a bit as she landed in the grass, her legs stiff from hours of flight. Benzi was already snapping up grasshoppers in the clearing, hungry from the journey and content that Asha would warn them of any impending threats.
"We should move to the edge of the forest, we'd be less visible there." Asha nodded towards the shaded edge of the surrounding woods.
"We'll be fine Asha. We're not in anyone's immediate territory and we will be on our way again soon anyway." Morgan replied, rummaging through her bag. Asha snorted in disagreement but didn't press the issue, curling up on the warm grass. Morgan finally retrieved a worn map from her inventory and a small stash of dried fruit and nuts. She sat down next to Asha and leaned against the guardian, unfolding the map and munching on a handful of the mixture. Asha turned her head and studied the map with Morgan.
"We should be pretty close to where the others are rumored to be,"Morgan began, "At least, there are lots of reports of dragon riders in the area." Asha snorted again,
"You know I dislike that term. You are my charge, and you happen to fly with me sometimes."
"You know it is more than that Asha." Morgan argued, still looking at the map. "Where do think we should head from here?"

The Behemoth aboveground - Gerda and Timothy
Gerda was about ready to pull Timothy off that branch, but her head turned towards another wildclaw who approached them. Jason, she remembered, one of the things she was good at was remembering where they met and the names. However Timothy jumping off the branch onto her back and then onto the floor looked at the large beast. "Hi Jason, my name is Timothy Agario but you can call me Tim. This is Gerda my partner." he taped her leg as Gerda let out a small puff of smoke from her nostrils. Her head turned towards the other newcomers this time it seemed to be a pair of rider and dragon.
The wildclaw completely left her rider, though keeping him in view as she stopped in front of Serene and Erica. "You must have gotten the word, welcome to Agario I am Gerda Agario. My partner is over there Timothy Agario you can call him Tim." Seemed ironic enough, it was just how he would have greeted them.

Serena's eyes lit up as soon as she saw the female wildclaw approach them. She was almost jumping up and down with excitement but she knew to try and be calm, for the sake of the others around her. "Hi!" She exclaimed with a grin across her face "nice to meet you Greda! My name is Serene and this is my partner Erica Wilson. She doesn't talk too much but she will once you get to know her, right?" Looked over at Eric who was standing with her arms folded. After Erica noticed Serene was addressing her she nodded and simply said "yes". Serene smiled and looked back at Greda.

A little while later Morgan climbed back on Asha's back as the guardian crouched low to the ground. Sensing her rider stabilize herself, Asha stood up. Benzi fluttered toward Asha's face and raised and lowered his crest excitedly, reenergized from his meal. Asha smiled in return, before turning to look back at Morgan who was still strapping her legs back into the saddle.
"Ready to go?" She asked.
"Just a second!" Morgan replied, double checking to make sure her supplies were securely strapped in. She then took a second to push a few strands of hair out of her face and double-checked the compass that was set into the front of the saddle.
"Benzi? Are we close?"
"Certainly." He replied in his strange monotone, though his perked crest indicated happiness. "We have just nearly passed the Shrieking Wilds and are near The Behemoth, you may have glimpsed it when we landed. I think if we land near it we will be close to our goal."
Morgan patted Asha's shoulder,
"Sound good to you?"
"As long as we stay low above the trees, we are deep in Nature Flight territory and the likelihood of encountering others will increase as we approach the big tree." Asha replied, her description of The Behemoth earning a look of annoyance from Benzi.
With a great flap of her wings they took to the sky, keeping low near the tree tops to try and stay under the radar of any unfriendly dragons or enemies. They reached the great tree within the hour and Asha began circling again. Morgan peered down and tried to see through the dense undergrowth to the forest. Asha spied a large root from the great tree sticking up slightly through the forest floor, though still under the canopy.
"Hold on!" She called, folding her wings and diving through the small break in the canopy, crashing through into the forest. Branches and leaves blinded Morgan and Asha as they tumbled through the trees, the unexpected barrier knocking the guardian off course. They landed with a loud crash, Asha's barely managing to keep upright to avoid crushing her rider. Morgan's head was spinning as she lay back in the saddle for a minute. Benzi alighted nearby and cast a scolding glance their way,
"Really do you have to make such a mess?"
"We had to land somewhere... Owww..." Asha replied, standing and peeling a particularly thorny branch from her side. There were not nearly as many trees in the Ashfall Waste, it was always easy to land back home.
"We definitely should've thought that through a bit more." Morgan agreed. Asha growled,
"I wasn't going to wait around up there."
"Fine, fine."
"Let's just take it easy for a minute." Benzi replied, searching over the two of them for any serious injuries.

The next morning was uneventful, Night busied himself helping out the townsdragons with random tasks that just needed to be done. He hauled water and wood, went out hunting with a small group of dragons and gave most of the children rides on his big figure. It wasn't until night had fallen that he got a break. A loud shriek filled his ears and he dropped the cloth he was carrying to cover them. Shantor had obviously found him, and was happy to see that Night was alive and well.
The little manticore screamer landed on his back hard, then curled up into his shoulders and fell asleep. Man he falls asleep fast when he wants to... Wish I had that power. Nightwing thought. He was just heading into the town, when he could hear loud noises and voices, like that of excited dragons waiting for something. He hurried on his way to get to the center of town, to find that the trader had finally made it in one piece. Night still wondered how he got his cart to move, but he wouldn't tell him. The tundra dragon stood up on his stand, and in the biggest voice he could he told the town, "You will never believe what I have seen! It is straight out of the tales that we learned as hatchlings, the tales... of Humans!"
He looked around at the growing crowd, they then all looked back at him with disbelief and started to wander away. The tundra looked away downhearted, but perked back up when he saw Nightwing in the shadows, "Hello, friend! I've collected quite a few new trinkets. What are you searching for? You have lots to trade this time around I see, Ah! And is that Shantor on your back?" He said this all very quickly and continued, "It's his birthday today, is it not? What are you getting him for a gift?" The trader's eyes twinkled in the dark, and Night lowered the manticore to the ground.
"His birthday present is the story you were going to tell the town before they left, and I'll give you what I have in my satchel for supplies to last the way home." Night lay himself down next to his familiar, waiting for the tundra to commence. *sigh* "Alright... But after this story you won't want to go home." He started by telling them about his journey, where he had gone and who he had met, continuing on to where he met the most crazy thing.... Humans.
"You probably don't believe me, but trust me it's true." The trader looked at him with his sharp eyes, seemingly looking through him. Night stood, poking the manticore awake with a claw, he looked at the tundra, "Thank you." Was all he said before walking into the woods, Shantor right behind him.
I need to find this place, this Behemoth. If it exists, I want to know what a human is, and why dragons are their companions. As were his thoughts as he roamed further out of the territory of the Tangled Wood, and into the Viridian Labyrinth. I'm going to find out if this is a place I can call home.

He hurried on his way to get to the center of town, to find that the trader had finally made it in one piece. Night still wondered how he got his cart to move, but he wouldn't tell him. The tundra dragon stood up on his stand, and in the biggest voice he could he told the town,
"You will never believe what I have seen! It is straight out of the tales that we learned as hatchlings, the tales... of Humans!"
He looked around at the growing crowd, they then all looked back at him with disbelief and started to wander away. The tundra looked away downhearted, but perked back up when he saw Nightwing in the shadows,
"Hello, friend! I've collected quite a few new trinkets. What are you searching for? You have lots to trade this time around I see, Ah! And is that Shantor on your back?" He said this all very quickly and continued,
"It's his birthday today, is it not?
Night stood, poking the manticore awake with a claw, he looked at the tundra,
"Thank you." Was all he said before walking into the woods, Shantor right behind him.
I need to find this place, this Behemoth. If it exists, I want to know what a human is, and why dragons are their companions. As were his thoughts as he roamed further out of the territory of the Tangled Wood, and into the Viridian Labyrinth.
I'm going to find out if this is a place I can call home.
