I took the liberty of creating the thread for our RP, that is if you still would like to partake in it. You don't have to, I don't mind if you've changed your mind :)

Name: Johannes

Age: 26

Gender: Male | He/Him/His

25u360k.jpg
(I haven't finished drawing him yet)
(He's got light brown skin, with deep brown eyes and thick dark curly brown hair)

Personality: Johannes has been a slave for most of his life, he was captured as a prisoner of war when he was younger and forced into slavery, serving under the former King and the royal family. He stands at 6' and has a rather toned and lean body due to his many years of hard labor. He used to be fiery and feisty but was broken in many years ago, now he is rather subdued and will do as asked. He is incredibly patient and knows a thing or two about handling horses and a little about wielding a sword. He finds it hard to trust people and open up to others, but he is incredibly loyal to those he calls friends.

If you still wish to do this then you're more than welcome to post your character or start! :D

He doesn't see himself as any different than anyone else in the kingdom, much to his advisers displeasure. Any attempts at controlling him, and you will get a taste of the dragon's blood within him, and he will turn feisty and aggressive. History: Korrin grew up quite sheltered for the most part, forbidden from leaving the castle. This lead to him seeking out adventure in any way he could, which often meant sneaking out in the middle of the night. His mother died giving birth to him, and the king never picked another spouse, leaving Korrin as the only heir. Extra: -Because he is royalty, dragon's blood runs through his veins. Personality: Korrin is nearly the exact opposite of his father. His father was a quiet, cold, and reclusive man, especially in his later years where he grew more and more paranoid. Sighing, Korrin slowly opened the doors to the courtyard and stepped outside. He frequently enjoyed the feeling of the warm sunshine on his skin, he found that is allowed him to relax, but fuel him with motivation and newfound energy as well. He closed his eyes and smiled, relishing in the warmth. However before long he was interrupted by one of his father's-now his-advisers. Groaning, the new king turned around to face the adviser. "What could possibly be the matter now?" He snapped, unintentionally harsh.

"You know as well as I, my liege, that there are more things to be discussed regarding your future, and that of the kingdom. You simply do not have time to do, whatever it is you are doing."

"I was enjoying the sun." Korrin cut in.

"Yes well, now is not the time, my lord. Please, follow me back into the castle, and please, for the love of the maker, don't let me catch you flirting with the servants again just to get out of your duties."

Korrin burst into loud laughter, roughly patting his adviser on the shoulder. "What's wrong with a little playing around, Arthur? After all I do need a spouse to rule at my side." The adviser, Arthur, gave him a disgusted look before silently heading back into the castle. The king followed, chuckling all the while.

Yes! Although I was kinda sad cause you had to kill the dragons ;-; I liked that in the Jaws of Hakkon DLC that you could choose to save the dragon, I saved it >3> DAO made me cry too oh my gosh ;-; Also...I have a feeling I know the answer, like me, did you happen to romance a certain tevinter mage in DAI? I loved Dorian to bits, he was so sassy and great.

Johannes looked up into the sky, breathing in the fresh air deeply, taking advantage of his brief moment of peace in between jobs. He sighed softly, running a hand through his unruly brown curls as he watched the birds fly through the air, free as anything. A small smile came to his lips as one flew lower, skimming across the pond in the garden.

He was suddenly hit across the back of the head by the chief gardener, "Back to work boy! There's no time to be gawking".

"Yeah yeah..", he grumbled quietly, rubbing his head. He sighed and turned back to his work, getting his hands dirty once again from soil. He looked to the castle briefly...things had changed a lot since the incident. Everyone had been busy running around and organising everything, the remaining slaves were working double time to make sure everything was in order. A small smile flickered across his lips and he couldn't help but chuckle, at least the King was still his good flirty self and hadn't let himself be like his father.

OMG yes Dorian is the best !!

---

Korrin had managed to sneak away from his adviser. He pulled his cape over his head, wearing it as if it were a hood, to hide from Arthur as he headed back outside. He got a few odd looks from servants, but no one dared to say anything as he crept through the halls.

Once he got outside, he let his cape fall, sighing as he took in the fresh air. "Much better." The king purred. He decided to head to the gardens, as there always seemed to be someone tending to them. Upon reaching the gardens he looked around, sighting a few servants as well as slaves. He frowned, he had always hated the whole concept of slavery. He felt no living being should fully belong to another. Everything was give and take to him. People should be payed for the work they do, not simply be allowed to exist only so long as they could serve. He sighed again, and continued along the path.

When the king approached the head gardener, they immediately fell into a bow in the presence of the king. "Please, man. None of that." Korrin said softly. "I'm only a man." He smiled, offering a hand to the gardener. After helping them to their feet, he turned his attention to those who were working in the dirt. His grin only grew as he spotted a familiar face.

"Ah, Johannes." Korrin quickly stepped over to the curly haired man and plopped down into the dirt next to him. "How goes it?" He asked, his voice full of joy. "I can see you're looking as handsome as ever." He said, his bright blue eyes shining with a bit of mischief.

He most certainly is!

--

Johannes continued to work on the guard, digging holes to plant new crops and plants, being one of the few slaves he was worked hard whilst the servants were given some breaks every now and then. Ever since his capture when he was younger he was a slave, despite doing his utter best to serve he was never elevated to servant status. He sighed and wiped his cheek on the back of his hand, leaving a streak of dirt. The guards were hard taskmasters, as were the chiefs of the differing divisions, the chief gardener certainly had it out for him. Yet he couldn't complain, there were several nice people in the palace, the prince turned King was one of them. A smile came to his lips as he thought about the handsome man, chuckling softly to himself.

As if by magic he heard Korrin speaking to the chief gardener, and couldn't help but grin wider at the perfect timing. He glanced up as Korrin came over and plopped down next to him, sitting back on his knees. "Well, I won't question your taste if you think a man covered in dirt and sweat is handsome", he chuckled as he saw the mischief in his eyes, "Oh man I know that look, you avoiding the advisers again huh?". He looked to him, his own brown eyes twinkling with his own mischief, "If you want to avoid them you have to blend in", he scooped up some dirt and smeared Korrin's cheek with it, grinning impishly.

Korrin laughed. "You know me so well! Arthur wanted me to discuss measures to ensure my safety with him and the other advisers. As well as my other new duties that I'm failing to complete." He sighed and gave another smile, this one tinged with sadness. "The only kingly thing I'm all that good at is sitting on the throne and looking pretty. All of this is so new to me, yet they treat me as if I was prepared. Now I know why the old man was so stressed all of the time. Having to take care of an entire kingdom by himself must of taken the toll on him... I wonder if it was easier when my mother was alive. Not that I support his decisions, but I can sort of understand them."

Korrin immediately perked up and burst into another fit of laughter as he felt cool, soil-covered fingers touch his cheek. "Well, for your information I have been needing a bath, now I have an excuse to take one." The king gave a small grin and leaned closer. "Perhaps you should join me sometime." He whispered at the other man's ear. "After all, it looks like i'm not the only one who needs to clean up!" He chuckled as he threw a handful of dirt at Johannes.
