There is a wall that borders around the entire city, though it allows anyone in without much resistance. While that saves them from many problems that most places have to deal with, it makes it very easy for any terrorist or criminal to come and go in a matter of moments. Not to mention, they can escape the crime scene before anyone has a chance to apprehend them. Though, while the citizens enjoyed their free lifestyle for a long time, the increasing crime rates started to influence their opinions. Many people started filing complaints, and it even got to the point where rallies started to form in front of the Governor's Office. Eventually, he couldn't defend his actions against it anymore, so he reinforced the borders and made strict protocols that, if not followed, would lead to denial of entry or exit. While this DID make crime decrease, the results weren't impressive and criminals could find ways around the systems. So, the Governor put even MORE money into the borders, making them difficult for NORMAL citizens to bypass. Eventually, it became a violent cycle of more and more money being put into their defenses, until they barely had any left for anything else. While the economy for citizens thrived, the Governor was at an extreme lacking. He had 2 choices: Raise taxes in multiple sections to repay him, or to just ignore it until he slowly made more money. His people would despise him if they knew he planned on raising taxes, so he decided to go with the latter. Though, at the aftermath of Torarona, they would've MUCH preferred taxes. Crime rate DID decrease largely and the economy thrived from this, so many people felt as if Torarona had become a utopia. Many people spoke of other cities that had laws banning discrimination from Sorcerers and Non-Sorcerers, but that was never a problem in the first place. Though, this town fell into a horrifying darkness after a few months of peace, when a [b]man[/b] came into town. This [b]man[/b], being the Godfather of a powerful Mafia. Mafias were a big thing, even if the world was so advanced. Though, while this one in particular was one of the biggest in the entire universe, it was under the radar at almost all times. Some Cities and Countries HAD heard of this certain group, though Torarona was entirely unaware of Mafias in general, making them susceptible to any of the Mafia's clever and subtle manipulations. While it started off as small robberies, it quickly escalated to murders, abuse and... Governmental manipulation. While the main characters of this grim story are only mere teenagers and young adults, they will learn the truth, one way or another. Though, if they wanted to escape, their efforts would be in vain. The borders were brutal at this point, and the Mafia was keeping tabs on every single person and their whereabouts. Any murders, robberies or manipulation was done carefully, and planned to the millisecond so they wouldn't be revealed. The only way any citizens could escape when they learn about the cruelty of this town would be to work together to either... Kill the Mafia, or Fight against the Government to escape. Though, while the Mafia is a great problem, there are still Bounty Hunters from different Mafias that are sprouting up. While they're a threat to the town as well, they share a common enemy with the citizens. After all, if they were to be the greatest Mafia, any others would be competitors. To this day, many are still unaware of the mere EXISTENCE of a Mafia in their town, and the ones that do are keeping it secret. After all, even if word spread about it, it would only draw more attention to the town, luring in more bloodthirsty killers... While her rude demeanor is justified by her childhood, it doesn't make her any less snarky or annoying to some. Though, behind those hateful and sarcastic feelings is a hurt and sad Sorceress who just wants a friend she can trust... But, despite her personality being snarky, bratty and once in a while sweet, she has a violent anger that, when unleashed, becomes overwhelming.

Name: Ceceliana D'Alucifen (Nickname: Cece) Gender: Female Age: 19 Role: Citizen Talent: Circus Performance! Cece is part of a "Travelling" Circus. She's one of the best tight-rope walkers around the world, and has stunning, quick reflexes. (Though, besides those, she's kind of shrimpy). She also has extremely accurate eyesight, but her sense of hearing is slightly below average and her sense of smell is horrible because of pollen allergies. Backstory: Cece was raised by 2 rich, beautiful models that loved only one thing: Being famous. When taking care of her took too much of their time from being models, instead of choosing to take a break from their job, they decided to give her away so they could continue to feed off of all of the fame and fans they had. Cece was found by a young woman, who raised her as if she had been her real parent. Cece was smothered by her mother, which made her have this Self-centered mentality. Cece didn't have to work a day in her life because of her new mother, so she became lazy... Until, her mother lost her temper. She ran away from Ceceliana, because of how much pressure taking care of her was and how she never did anything for herself. Cece wandered for days, homeless for the second time in her life. Eventually stumbling across a Circus, she was forced to either join them, or starve. She decided to do the former, and learned she was extremely skilled on the tight-rope and in gymnastics. She quickly became part of one of the biggest circuses, and relished being loved by SOMEONE... Her fans! Though, while she was part of a Travelling circus at first, the group got stuck in Torarona... Oh well! They can just travel the country instead. Personality: Mocking, Confident, Snarky, Sarcastic and Clever... All in one package! Though, while she struts across the tight-rope with her "Confidence", it's really hiding her broken heart, which was ripped to shreds by her parents and patched up by her second mom, only to be thrown away again. She rarely loses an argument, as she can always make herself look like the victim. Though, while many of her fans admire and adore her, not many people see her as a friend or even someone they want to be around. Deep down, that's all she's ever wanted. . . Once in a while, though... She will lose her temper and go crazy, only seeing red and losing any rationality. Despite performing in front of audiences daily, she's uncomfortable around people and constantly has trust issues with people she knows she SHOULD trust. Lastly, she has a gun. She didn’t buy it herself: The Circus Leader had given each performer one, for self defense in case there was an attack during his circus. He is the only man Cece trusts, but… Sorcerer? Her abilities are Air related: She can disguise herself in the shadows and air around her, and lastly: She can choke people by draining the air from their body. She had a pretty happy life inside of her little apartment, but couldn't help wanting to explore the world. You don't experience much living in a little concrete box with a cheerful yellow painting on the wall. One day, Pathfinder was visiting the market with her parents and her young baby sibling when everything went downhill very fast. Gunshots, screaming, splatters of blood. Pathfinder's parents left in a blind panic, taking the baby with them but leaving Pathfinder to fend for herself. By now, they were probably dead. Pathfinder hid beneath one of the stalls, warily gazing through the cracks in the wood. Lucky for her, a Mafia member just so happened to yank her out of her hidey hole and expose her to the rest of the gang. "Lookie what I got 'ere!" they announced, holding the trembling girl by the back of the neck with a gun pointed to her head. "Looks like the last of 'em... Should we leave 'er to deal with the trauma? Or should we kill 'er?" Pathfinder squeezed her eyes shut, and then spoke, in the same tone as the man holding her captive. "Or we could take 'er in... Give 'er a job and train 'er to work for us... Kill 'er if she does somethin' stupid." The rest of the gang perked up at this. Force her work for those that killed her family and kill her if she misbehaves? Maybe stick her in a ring and have her fight with those feral dogs they'd found. Before long, Pathfinder had been dragged back to the Mafia's base and was taught to fight for her life. She learned fast, even killed one of the guys she was up against. Long story short, she was a Mafia member with a new name, and she had a family that cared about her more than her actual, probably dead, one. --- [b]Personality[/b] Pathfinder is the sort of person that just puts you on edge, and she knows it. She's dainty, she's delicate, and she knows how to put people in their place. She's a nature lover who will compliment the sunlight, gazing mindlessly up at it, while understanding perfectly that nobody would dare make a move to hurt her. Not to mention she's got connections that she's not afraid to use. She's almost guaranteed to stay calm in all manner of situations, but life-threatening ones tend to make her snap. And, as an added bonus, insult her or what she loves and by the next day you'll feel like someone's watching you. Probably because someone is. She never wears any jewelry, but loves to have her hair in some sort of intricate style. --- [b]Quirks[/b] Pathfinder is the biggest fan of butterflies you may possibly find, and when she's not expressing her love for them she's expressing her love for the rest of nature. She'll literally risk her life for a dying plant, even put somebody else's life at risk for it. Lots of people don't trust her with their lives, because of this. She also seems to know quite a bit of science, and likes to experiment with chemicals in her free time, the majority of which are highly explosive, corrosive, or poisonous... --- [b]Sorcerer[/b] Pathfinder has a slightly uncanny knack where she imitates voices perfectly, and seems to remember a lot. The assassin is far kinder to animals than he is to humans as he will do anything to take care of one even if that means taking it home and running up his electric or food bills for them. However his rage is legendary and does not discriminate between the one who actually incurred it or an "innocent" bystander. Surprisingly enough he has a soft and caring core somewhere deep inside of him that still sees something good in humanity. His blood also has healing abilities although the amount of healing that is done depends highly on how much blood that the other person ingests. It doesn't automatically heal the wound but it decreases the amount of time that it takes to heal significantly. The other person also has to stay within Dimitri's line of sight so that the accelerated healing continues and are also able to sense his emotions or get a feeling of what he is thinking.[/center]

He always keeps his laptop on him for this reason and really never seen without it. Milo's username/nickname online is simply known as "Phazer" due to the sense that he can literal phase in and out of there as if never existed, that and it sounded cool... [b]Backstory:[/b] Milo grew up to a mother who worked of a professional manga artist and a father whose special interests where robotics. Because of this Milo grew up surrounded by comic books, math equations and all things nerdy. Milo spent a heap of time on the internet and was often home schooled due to uh... Money issues... Milo got into programming at Avery young age much like his father and soon was building his own computer at 9. As he couldn't really make friends on the outside world often relied on the internet persona he made himself and used to talk to others with. Thought Milo has gotten in trouble with the cops every know and then - like one time when he was much younger and attempted to hack into the actually bank to try and steal money after he found out about overdue bills, he was still to young at the understand why it was wrong but he learns... Milo know seems to live through his computer and acts as a kinda famous hacker on the online community thought he has yet to pull something off major yet. [b]Personality:[/b] Milo is a starry eyed child with a big heart and even bigger dreams of archiving. Milo is a kind young man who can be seen as a bit of a doormat, he's not to stand up for himself and usually tries to just go with the flow, he's not good with conflict and wishes to be one to end it. He's rather naive and lived a very sheltered life often leaving him very socially awkward and unaware of the world around him. While Milo isn't shy - in fact he comes across as friendly when meeting him - he's just not the most sociable and doesn't often leave the house as much as he should. Milo is a very stubborn and persistent child thought despite being a pushover and feels a need to keep going to prove his worth somehow. What Milo lacks in physically muscle ad height he makes up in intelligence - he's extremely smart for his age thought he lacks the wisdom or understanding for some things, computers aren't one of them thou. He carries a green leather satchel where he goes as it contains important things such as his laptop and ever since sh*ts been hitting the fan his parents gave him a taser and some pepper spray just in case. Milo often wears glasses, jackets, long-sleeved shirts, cago shorts and sandals as he isn't one of fashion really and likes being comfy more then anything. [b]Quirks:[/b] - Has an unhealthy habit of downing energy drinks/soda faster then they can be produced, he never really sleeps because of this and often pulls one nighters more then he should - Has horrible nails to the fact he always bites them when stressed or worried - Has tendencies to sprout a bunch of funfacts you never asked for - He still hoards Pokemon cards let him live - Really likes mshic and always had his headphones in - kinda always unwaware of the world around him [b]Sorcerer/Abilites:[/b] Milo can make reasonable amounts of electrical sparks sprout from hisnahdna. He can stun or burn others with it and even mess with lighting and electronics. It's only amplified with his taser. Thought been quite young and not use to such powers he often can lose control.
