Roleplay

(OOC: Hello! This is a jump-in roleplay for Pokémon Mystery Dungeon. All you need is to post a short physical description of your Pokémon and you're in. Of course, they cannot be Legendary, Mythical, Fusion, or Fakemon, and they have to be the base forme. I had RP ideas that I wanted to carry over from a dead private roleplay.)

The solar eclipse.

Such a rare occurrence, really. Some may say that seeing a total eclipse is an once in a lifetime opportunity. So of course many Pokemon flocked to Seaside Village, where the total eclipse is occurring.

And when a shadow completely swallowed the sun, all of a sudden, they showed up.

Light Pokémon are beings of pure solid golden light taking the form of various Pokémon, like Pikachu or Kommo-o. Some say they even seen them taking the forms of Legendary Pokémon. However, they've always stayed in Mystery Dungeons, and only one was seen at a time Most the time.

Not here, where they attacked the previously quiet village in droves.

Whether you're a normal Pokémon or a human who took on Pokémon form, you have witnessed the travesty. Seaside Village is in ruins, and Pokémon are running around tending to the injured. Where will your story carry you from here?

Rags is a female Mimikyu who is smaller than her kindred. Otherwise, she seems like your average Mimikyu save for having floppy ears on her disguise.

It was pandemonium. One second she was standing away from the other Pokemon, and the next she was facing down a Light Garchomp, its golden light blinding her. It broke her disguise with Sand Tomb, and then one Stone Edge later everything went black.

When she came to, the first thing she noticed was the dull aching of her body, and her head was swimming.
What happened?
Rags struggled to stand up.

Seaside Village has been her home her whole life. And now it's gone.

Pokémon were either lying injured on the beach, surveying the damage as if it was salvageable, or tending to the injured. Rags wrapped one pitch black arm around herself and began slowly shuffling forwards.

He likes to keep a floral sprig behind is left ear and there is a scar slicing vertical threw the middle of his right eye. It’s hard to tell but he’s blind in that eye. Tends to keep a blue scarf tied about his neck. -------------------- Well...this was a day. This was DAY indeed. Just after Finally getting settled in this new world with his new home paid for in chestnuts Flash find himself stirring to his paws recovering from the aftershock of some Horrible crash. [i]It Wasn't suppose to Be this way.[/i] The scene before him is something rather horrific it's honestly hard to understand. [i]There was the Eclipse...and then...[/i] On pure instinct he begins to prop and heal what pokemon he can. Directing them with care to the Guildhall, Hopefully that was still standing, at the Very least there would be More Mon there, off the beach. Though that could move were ease up, those that could not were given to a fellow kinsman or friend to help. Those that were beyond help. A soft, concise prayer. "Hello Miss are you okay? " The rather Sturdy if a bit rushed voiced Vulpix dips to nose a female Mimikyu. He always wondered what was under one of their Costumes. She seems to be shuffling along. "Forgive me. It seems you are quite Mobile. Is there anything else you might need?" Lifting up Flash scans the beach..it seemed to be mostly clearing up. Good he could devote a little more time to this one then. Crisis......stage one atleast over.

(OOC: Rags has the same disguise as any other Mimikyu. Also I recommend subbing to the thread.

"I-I'm, um, f-fine. I-I'm just s-sore..."
Though her disguise was ruined thanks to the Light Garchomp. There was tears in the cloth, exposing a bit of her black body though not exposing enough to be harmful. She looked off to the guild in the distance.

The Tidepool Guild was somehow still standing, though it still showed signs of damage from the attack. No doubt that some of the injured are in there. Hopefully the neighboring guilds will come to help as well, even though the Light Pokemon have already left the previously peaceful village.

@YarnDrawcia (I am subbed to the thread I just don't want to get Blitzed past because this is a jump in and I wouldn't know what to do with my character if he is just left out in space. Are you subbed? :3 )

An hour or so later, with evening coming threw the sky and berry pouch just Nearly empty a very tired Vulpix wanders into the guild hall fresh from beach clean up. Luckily none of his partners were badly injured, sadly this is not the case for others.

Tired cinnamon eyes shift about the Throng of refugees, most of the town was salvageable, many still had homes. Flash included, though the roof was a little damaged. However Many were simply too injured to return to these homes and the guild was both Fortified against attacks and well stocked to take care of injured.
Here and there Nurses flutter, hop or slither to the aid of their fellow townsfolk. Himself included as a Floette makes a Be-line towards the injured fox.
He tries to brush her off but to no avail, and is at last herded into a 'Non-Emergency Recovery Room'.

A few more exchanged words and before tired sore paws find a nest and collapse.
Eyes close....pause....Open,Something is off. The feel of Other Eyes pressing into him takes hold and Flash looks around.

OH! He doesn't have to look far she is Right next to him. A softly panted whine and greeting tail wag is given to the Mimikyu he met Earlier on the beach. "Hello there. Glad to see you made it here okay." He rolls himself onto his belly to be a little more Presentable. "My name is Flash I am sorry I didn't get to introduce myself more thoroughly. It was rather rude to have left you so quickly there was just...a lot of work." A sad linger expression.
He spares a few licks to his front paw.

With a tiny Pikachu-shaped cloak in her mouth, just right for a Mimikyu, Lacie came trotting up to the scene. “Did you need this, dearie?” Ever since she had first met Rags, she had Pikachu disguises to spare. She just never knew when she needed them.

(OOC: Yeah, I'm subbed.)

Unfortunately for her, the small home Rags made herself was destroyed, though it wasn't completely unexpected considering it was rather flimsy. But she'll have to see if the Tidepool Guild was open to having her stay there for the night. They won't turn her away, right?

Creeping into the guildhall, she locked eyes with a Vulpix she saw earlier.
"H-Hi I'm R-Rags. I-I u-understand, a lot o-of, um, a-a lot of P-Pokemon got h-hurt..."
When she heard a voice coming from behind her, she yelped in surprise, but realized it was just Lacie.
"Y-Yes! Th-Thank you, I-I'll change a-as s-soon as I, uh, I-I can."

Traits: Not much. Purple bandana, simple leather satchel for exploration

Sparx's head hurt. The last thing she remembered was gazing in awe at the eclipse, and then being attached by a Light Geodude's Rollout. Being an Electric-type, there hadn't been much she could do, and was soon knocked out. Now she awoke in a simple bed surrounded by other injured Pokemon, not sure how she had gotten there. Noticing a Mimikyu and Vulpix talking next to her, she wondered if they knew what had happened. "Hello. Um, do you know what happened? Where did all of those Light Pokemon come from? And where am I?"

Name: Spilosoma (Spilo, for short)

Species: Larvesta

Moves: Ember, String Shot, Leech Life, and Overheat (Rarely used)

Ability: Flame Body

Appearance: Normal larvesta characteristics, other than the fact that her eyes are a greenish color with bright orange streaks on her mane. It's unknown as to how those streaks got there to begin with. She also has a small knapsack which she carries her few belongings in.

Personality: A rather young, naive pokemon. After being ridiculed in her home village, she set off on an adventure to gain more or an understanding of the world. While it's a rather slow progress, she's managing to develop a more mature outlook on everything.

It all began with the light from the sky suddenly winking out. Spilo had been in the midst of her travels during the time of the eclipse. Despite her determination to trek forward, even the Larvesta had set her belongings down to marvel at the phenomenon above. What was this magical moment? It appeared to be that something was devouring the sun...

Devouring her mother....

At least, that'd what she heard from her old playmates. They had told her that her mother was associated with the sun in some way. At first, Spilosoma had believed it whole-heartedly. Now however, the pokemon had her doubts. It was then that they came...

Strange pokemon, with light beaming from their bodies, had seemingly descended down from the sky. Their bodies shone with the brightness of a thousand glimmering stars, and they also happened to take the form of other pokemon.

Such a thing was exactly what she discovered when one of them took the shape of a Lunatone. At first, Spilo stood there, marveling at the unusual being in front of her. Then without giving off any warning, it struck her with a Rock Slide.

Severely injured, she'd made a dash to the nearest town. Hopefully they'd be able to provide medical assistance, and perhaps she could warn them of these dangerous new beings.

It seemed that the Larvesta had timed her arrival poorly. As soon as she entered the clearing of Seaside Village, she too, noticed that the settlement was in ruins. Her observation weren't for long however.. The Larvesta eventually caught sight of other pokemon fleeting around, and she made her way toward them.

They were so close, and her vision was fading. Spilo squinted, attempting to make out figures through the haze of her own mind. It was soon after that her conscious slipped away, and Spilosoma collapsed at the front entrance of the Tidepool Guild...

@Purpleater13 (I don't control the whole guild so I imagine Yarn is gonna send someone to find you and bring you to us. Not sure)

Flash nods gravely to the little Mimickyu. "Yes that is true. We are the lucky ones. Other others were-"
And just then a Zorua comes in brandishing a new disguise of all things for Rags.
The Vulpix startles a bit, shifts and groans to make space for the new fox. His smile in sincere for it seems threw two know each other. "Ahh, old friend Reunited I see. Good good, it best to gather strength in others during-

"Hello. Um, do you know what happened? Where did all of those Light Pokemon come from? And where am I?"

Flash turns to face the newest entry to their shared nest. A little sphinx with many a question. "Pardon he says to the Zorua and Mimikyu as they seemed to be having a shared moment. "As for what happened we were attacked a Mysterious form of pokemon I have never scene before, during the eclipse. As for the rest I could not Hope to share." The Vulpix rests his chin on his paws, Quite tired now. "My name is Flash by the way. I am a Pokemon Rescuer, Silver Rank. It is a Pleasure to meet you." Nod. Then his chin goes back to his paws, head tipping to the side.
