how is this going for over a year now

You wake up in a bizarre landscape. The area around is a pale pink that would slowly shift into other colors such as yellow or pastel blue before shifting back to its usual hue of pink. There is no floor, but you seem to be standing on something. Right in front of you is a mysterious figure whose features you can't quite make out.
"Hello! My name is Lunala, and you may be wondering why you're here. That's because...things are getting desperate."
You ponder about this, but Lunala answers your question before you can ask it. "One of our largest threats to all outer worlds is the Taint, a manifestation of the central world's hatred, focused on surviving and sating its hunger by consuming outer worlds into nonexistence."
"First was the original host of the Taint, the Beacon of Hope. Beacon had its trauma taken advantage of by the Taint to become the host. And then Sin willingly became the next host of the Taint, and then after she was destroyed, one of Beacon's creations made when it's still the host, the Crimson Sun, had returned. Beacon was purified, the latter two are destroyed, and the Taint had fallen into passiveness. But I have a feeling it won't be passive for long."
Lunala continued, "If you don't want to stay, or if it's just me being paranoid, then you should have a necklace that let's you will yourself between your home world and the world of Pokemon."
"But enough that! Tell me about yourself."
"Nice to meet you -Name-! You will also find native Pokemon in this world who will help you. Their name is..."

"As I am certain is the case in your home world, we have laws to abide by. Please remember them carefully.
RULES
1. FR forum rules apply.
2. No godmodding, powerplaying, or metagaming please.
--Due to the existence of Muses, IC representatives of player characters, this is anything that is expressly stated in spoiler tags.
3. Be respectful to other players.
4. NO AUS OF CANON CHARACTERS, except when it's an AU that has an otherwise dead character alive or changes their alignment. This is to prevent things like multiple versions of the exact same character.
5. ALL POKEMON MUST START OUT AS A BASIC POKEMON. They can evolve throughout the roleplay though.
6. Characters will only start out with their Pokemon's moveset and abilities, but will gradually regain their own abilities.
7. No Legendaries or Mythicals please. The Type: Null line is fine.
--This rule has been altered to permit Ultra Beasts. However, the Cosmog line and Necrozma are off limits.
--Further altered to include Phione. I don't really consider them to be Legendaries or Mythicals.
--This rule has been modified further to include the recently revealed Kubfu and Urshifu, and previously stated but forgotten to be included is that Meltan and Melmetal are also permitted as player characters.
8. Canon characters can be claimed for three days before their form is made. Once the time runs out before you make that form, that canon character is up for grabs again.
9. Some of us have abandoned a few of our characters coming into Season 2. Politely ask their RPer if you can play them so they can catch you up on what happened before you came!
10. Muse characters cannot drop characters into scenarios through portals, doorways, etc. without express permission from the person in charge of the scenario. And in general, major Muse interference is not allowed without expressed permission from the person in charge the scenario. No arguing about it, no always means no.
