Blight
Day 4
Someone was working with the Plaguebringer, and he has killed many victims. He had killed less than the Plaguebringer, but he loves killing. Ever since the war began, Blight went right ahead and started to kill, kill, kill. Every time he killed, blood stained on his clothes, light green, brown, magenta, other colors. When the war ended, he was sad, because he was entirely sure there would be no survivors, besides a lot of plague dragons, because plague dragons were hard to kill.
He had primary cerise speckle, secondary strawberry current, and tertiary maroon crackle. Glowing on top of his head was an infectionist emblem, as well as a crown of bones. Due to a lot of blood on him, the Plaguebringer put bandages on his head and tail, despite Blight saying that he wants to keep the blood so others see how dangerous he was. On his back legs were bloodscale greaves. Starting at his front legs and stretching to his wings was a carapace arm, and at his back legs were scars. He has a familiar, Spirit of Plague, that the Plaguebringer gave to him.
Blight was walking around the area of the Rotrock Rim, always having to jump over giant roots. Blight looks up at the yellow sky.
Ah, the beautiful sky. Blight thought. Suddenly, he see's someone flying to the Wyrmwound. It had dark red scales, lime bumps on it's back, sharp spikes along the head to the tail.
The Plaguebringer.
Blight waved at her and his familiar climbed up his tail and onto his right wing. The Plaguebringer landed into the bubbly red area. The Plaguebringer looks deeply into Blights' eyes.
"Killed another god?" Blight asked. The Plaguebringer nodded.
"I ate the Flamecaller. Before that, I ate a delicious aardvark." Plaguebringer said. The Spirit of Plague was crawling down his tail and napped against his left arm.
"Should I go out to find more dragons to kill?" Blight asked.
"Isn't that all plague dragons' job? Yes!" Plaguebringer said.
"Got it." Blight said. He picked up his familiar and flew off to the sky.
He gazed at the floor. Nothing to be seen. No dragons to kill. Blights' wings were getting tired so he dove towards the ground. His familiar woke up and looked at him.
"Now you can walk." He told him. He put his hands to the ground and his familiar walked off of his hands. His familiar started to walk around. "Don't go far." Blight added. His familiar rolled up into a ball and slept. Blight looks at the tree stumps and he saw a lot of dead bodies. Should he look at them up close, to see the injuries.
He won't, because he has company.
Four dragons were in the distance: male nocturne, female ridgeback, male pearlcather and mirror. Blight growled. They were coming his way. His familiar poke up his head and looks at them. The four dragons were chatting until the mirror points at them.
"Another dragon! It's odd seeing dragons pop up out of nowhere." The female ridgeback said. Blight charged at them.
"Hey! Stop!" The nocturne said, getting in front of them. When Blight got closer, he became bigger and bigger. So big, the nocturne is full grown and Blight could grab his body, shake it, and tossed it away, towards a dead tree.
"Emrys! No!" The ridgeback roared. The three dragons ran towards his avail, other wise known as Emrys. Blight looked at them, and saw Emrys back striked at a tree and he was left limped. What they don't know was that he was infected.
"Emrys! Get up! I barley known you for long!" The mirror said. The ridgeback set down the mirror and the mirror looked at him.
"What's wrong?" Blight said.
"Why did you do that?!" The female ridgeback roared.
"Ella, calm down." The pearlcatcher said.
"No! I can't! Emrys my friend! You and Bloodsheds'!" The ridgeback, named Ella, said. The mirror was named Bloodshed.
Cool name. Blight thought.
"Ella, go talk to the mirror... whatever his name is." The pearlcatcher said.
"It's Blight. I work for the Plaguebringer." Blight said.
"My name is Vulcan. This is my phoenix." The pearlcatcher, named Vulcan, hold up his phoenix, who in which looked at Blight and rolled up into a yellow fluffy ball. The female ridgeback looks at Blight.
"You. You! You're working for the Plaguebringer! Don't kill us, please!" Ella said. Blight suddenly feels very bad for injuring Emrys. He wanted to learn about him, and he infected him. So he abandoned his job for working with the Plaguebringer.
"Sorry for hurting your friend. Now, familiar, don't bite those kind dragons." Blight said, looking down at him. His familiar nodded.
"Emrys is no speaking!" Bloodshed said.
"No! No no no no no no no no no no no no no!" Ella said, setting down Vulcans' phoenix, which turned into a yellow bird with flames everywhere. Ella looks down at Emrys. Blight walked over with his familiar following. They all looked down at Emrys and he didn't say anything.
Suddenly, his mouth moved. "What?" Emrys said.
"Yes! You're still alive!" Ella said, smiling.
"Hey. You tossed me into a tree." Emrys said, gasping for air.
"I'm sorry. I want to know more about you." Blight said.
"Yeah, you say it, but you don't mean it. You're a plague dragon. What's your name?" Emrys said.
"Blight, and I know that your name is Emrys." Blight said. Emrys groaned.
"What's wrong?" Ella asked.
"Oops. Sorry. I infected him." Blight said.
"Why?!" Ella roared.
"Well, you see, before I became friends with you all, plague dragons can infect anyone with just one bite." Blight explained.
"Before you became friends?! Excuse me, you were never our friend!" Ella said.
"Ella, I forgive him for infecting me. Let him live." Emrys said. Emrys growled and even roared with pain. "But this infection is killing me!" Emrys said.
"Don't die on us! We''ll find a cleansing elixir for you!" Ella said, sobbing light blue tears. Suddenly, Ella hugged him. Emrys had a shocked expression on his face but he hugged her back.
"By the way, if you touch someone, the plague won't be spread on to the dragon." Blight said. Ella stopped hugging him and just looked down on him.
"I love you." Ella said. Emrys had a shocked expression on his face when he heard that.
"When I met you, I had a sudden like to you. We are friends, and I had a thought in my mind, we could bring more dragons into the Sornieth. But then this happened. I thought, we won't bring more dragons into the Sornieth. I love you, too." Emrys said. He continued to stare at Ella without saying anything.
"Emrys? Bloodshed, is he still alive?" Ella asked. Bloodshed put his ear to his chest for any sign of his chest rising and falling.
"He no breathing." Bloodshed said. Ella sobbed and hugged Vulcan, who was starting to sob as well. Bloodshed fluttered into the hug as well as the phoenix who had just turned into a little bird. Blight looked at his familiar. He then looked at the group hug.
"Let's all hug." Blight said. Vulcan opened up an arm for Blight and his familiar to join. They all started to sob of the death of Emrys.
