Featherstar|Sunclan|Waspstar, Sunclan

Featherstra calmly leapt from stone to stone, landing smoothly on the ashy ground. With every step, she flicked her paws, trying not to stain her fur with the ashes on the ground. "Ugh. Disgusting." she meowed, glancing around ar the charred trees. "I hate this place."

She clambereed up the largest tree, sitting down and grooming the ashes out of her snow-white pelt. Her lips curled as she looked at the burned deadlands. "Waspstar, shall we bgin the gathering?" she asked. "I hope to leave the deadlands soon." She flicked her tail in anoyance, unintentionally flicking ashes at the other leader.

Hopper/Starlingpaw|Stoneclan|Open

Hopper followed his leader, running around the tree to meet new cats. He grinnedd. His first gathering! Everything here was amazing, but... it was a bit dissapointing to have his first gathering at this strange, burnt, ruined forest.

He looked up at his mentor, Wolfstalk. "I don't like it here..." he mewed. "What happened...?" His tail was low to the ground, and his ears were laid back a bit.

Alder|sunclan|Oakwish

Alder followed his leader into the Deadlands, looking forward to the gathering. He didn't mind getting the charred remains of the deadlands on his paws. As he weaved through the trees, he spotted a she-cat he had never seen before. Knowing full well that she must be a stoneclan cat, he padded up to her. "Well hello."

His voice was smooth and low, as if speaking to a clanmate in the midst of the night. His voice made it seem like he was trying to not wake his clanmates, though they were all awake anyways. "I've never noticed you here. Does your leader let you come here often?"

Aries|Stoneclan|open

"Hmm. I like it here. The ground is nice and even." His meow was quiet and calm, as if he didn't feel the ashed slowly covering his paws. Despite his calmness, his ears laid back slightly, resting comfortable on his speckles bandana."It smells dead, though." His tail curled around his paws as he sat and waited. "Just you watch." He purred to himself. "That Sunclan leader is going to get aggresive, I just know it."

Bunnytail | Sunclan | Open

Bunnytail jumped from rock to rock after her leader until she had reached the gathering place. She looked at the ashes and burned trees, wondering how it looked like before it had turned to ashes.

Oakwish | Stoneclan | Alder

Oakwish looked up at the tom. "Oh, uh... Hi?" she said to the cat "Ummm not really, i mean right now i am here because... Well it is a gathering.". She didnt know what to say to the cat, why was he even speaking to her?

Wolfclaw | Stoneclan | Open

Wolfclaw followed the leader to the dead trees. The ashes didnt bother him, he wasnt here to think about ashes and trees. He was there for a gathering. He looked around him at the other cats.

Ivystone | Stoneclan | Open

Paws skidding slightly on decaying leaves, Ivystone followed her clanmates to the Gathering with her head held high. This was her first Gathering as a proper warrior, and only her second one overall. During her first time, she had sat quietly behind her mentor the whole time, soaking in the feeling of the two clan's joining together. This time, though, she planned to make a bigger impact. Or at least, she would try.

With that goal in mind she charged into the clearing, scouting around to find a good seat. Nothing jumped out at her (figuratively or literally), so she slowed her pace and settled for watching cats greet one another. Now that she thoight about it, she wasn't sure how she would even talk to a Sunclan cat. How did she appear friendly while not saying too much? She didn't want to give away clan secrets...

Cloudripple | SunClan Warrior | Interactions open
As his clanmates made their way to the gathering area, the calico tom was right by them, a calmness in his eyes as he prepared to listen to the leaders speak. Sure, mingling would have been a pleasant idea, but Cloudripple was just a tad more exhausted than usual. So, to compensate for his slight unwillingness to communicate to other cats--within or outside of his clan, the warrior simply decided to sit off to the side of the gathering area, exhaling a soft sigh as his fluffy tail neatly rested just atop his white paws.

“What a peaceful day...” Cloudripple purred to himself, slowly blinking his eyes as he tilted his head up towards the sky, “Let’s hope it stays so.”

Waspstar | Stoneclan Leader | Featherstar Waspstar padded through the charred and destroyed forest, his paw steps silent on the mostly ashen ground. It was very easy to sneak around here since there were no leaves or twigs to break under paw. These thoughts drifted through his head mindlessly as he reached the Gathering Place, glad to see his clan had beaten Sunclan there. He leaped a little clumsily into the tree, his small stature making it difficult to reach some of the higher branches. He was glad Featherstar had not been around to see that. As the Sunclan cats began arriving, Waspstar could not help but scan the crowd for his sister. He quickly spotted her light grey pelt and sleek body. Sighing softly, he almost immediately averted his eyes. His attention was regained by the sound of a cat approaching, and he watched as the other leader joined him, her pristine white pelt barely stained by the ash. The soot did not bother him as it was the same pale grey as his pelt, but Starclan-forbid Featherstar got a speck on her own flawless fur. Resisting the urge to curl his lip at her comment, he nodded. "Good of you to finally join us," the tom mewed, dipping his head respectfully despite the tone of his words, "Would you like to begin?" Shellbrook | Sunclan Warrior | Cloudripple Shellbrook padded alongside her clanmates silently, her green eyes focused on the ground under her paws instead of the cats around her. She could hear cats idly chatting, and she flicked her thin tail impatiently. What were the point of words if one did not use them wisely? As her clan entered the Gathering Place, she watched Featherstar join the Stoneclan leader, high above the other cats. She only spared her sibling a quick glance before searching for somewhere nice to sit. Since her clan had arrived so late, she doubted she would have the time to speak to Waspstar tonight. Spotting a cat sitting on the edge of the area, she padded over to him. She quickly recognized the tom as Cloudripple, and she dipped her head respectfully at him. Sitting a polite distance away, she wrapped her skinny tail around her fore paws, not wanting to break the comfortable silence that sat between them. Shellbrook had always liked Cloudripple, as he seemed mindful enough to know when and when not to speak. However she had never been around him much, and her sitting so near him was an open invitation to have a simple discussion, if the tom wished to do so. If not, she was content to sit in silence until the Gathering's end. Salmon/Salmonnose | Sunclan Warrior | Silverpaw Pushing her way to the front of the crowd and beckoning her apprentice to follow, Salmon hissed under her breath at several nearby Stoneclan cats. Eventually she found a spot as near to the leaders as she could be, and settled into a comfortable crouch, her paws disappearing beneath the thick fur of her neck. "Are you nervous?" the she-cat asked, turning to Silverpaw. The huge cat was normally only nice when she was flirting, but she had an odd soft spot for her apprentice. Maybe because he was her first one and she did not want to scare him off. She looked at the cats around her, making eye contact with several Stoneclan cats, most of whom would quickly look away. She recognized a tom she had gotten into a border skirmish with, and was glad to see the scratch she had left on his flank was still healing. That would teach him for calling her a kittypet! Her claws flexed excitedly, hidden beneath her fur. How she would love to rake her claws over that tom's face! But the previous words of Featherstar rang loud in her mind. This was her first gathering in several moons, as she had been banned from them for a short while after swatting a Stoneclan apprentice over the head. Salmon imagined Featherstar had given her Silverpaw, a calm and rational cat, as a way to mellow her out, and it was working. She hated upsetting the little guy, and he was the only cat who could diffuse a situation when she was involved. If any other cat tried to calm her down like he did, she would not tolerate it. Webcatcher | StoneClan Medicine Cat | Open

Webcatcher followed his leader through the charred forest, grumbling to himself on how the two clans should really try and clean up this place. Watching Waspstar seat himself on the great tree he found a comfortably clean spot and settled himself down, starting to groom the ash from his fur. Currently Webcatcher felt quite tired, as the duties of gathering more herbs for the next season was rather tiring.

Dustwing | SunClan Warrior | Ivystone

Dustwing felt eager as she entered the large open clearing along with her clanmates. She always loved to listen to the elders tales about how this forest once was a luscious green forest. Her gaze scanned around, looking for an seemingly interesting cat to talk to. Dustwing's gaze stopped on a she-cat who she guessed was from StoneClan. Making her way to the she-cat, she gave them a warm smile, "Hello there! Do you mind if I sit here?" she asked, gesturing to the open spot beside Ivystone.

"If it gets me out of the deadlands, then I would love to." She meowed, glancing at the other leader. "We have a cat who has recently re-joined sunclan." She smiled. "Alder has already gone through his warrior training before he originally left us, however, so he does not need to train as an apprentice."

She purred and continued on. "Five healthy kits have been born to Maplebush and Blacktail. I'm sure they will grow up to be strong, brave warriors. She purred. She then leaned close to Waspstar, and whispered so the clans, more specifically Shellbrook, couldn't hear. "I plan to let your sister train one. She seems loyal enough to Sunclan to train some apprentices."

Silverpaw | Sunclan Apprentice | Salmon The frail, pale-furred apprentice chuckles fondly at his mentors familiar grumpiness, throwing a semi-sarcastic look and flicking his tail proudly as he stalks past the Stoneclan warriors she had snarked. Serves them right, he chides to himself, although he's not quite sure of the origin of his bitterness. He delicately steps over the ash, throwing disdainful looks as he goes, and settles in a relaxed sit next to his mentor, purring and flicking his ears back when she addresses him. Salmon was one of the first people in his life who made him feel cared for, and he loves her like the grumpy older sibling she is. "Mm..." pausing, Silverpaw considers the answers to her question that are rolling on his tongue. "A little bit," he confesses with a shy laugh as he curls his tail suavely over his paws. Lightningpaw | SunClan Medicine Cat App.

(Lightningpaw is currently in camp with Leafstream)

Cinderpaw | SunClan App.

Cinders. She looks down, to little dark paws upon dark rock, under a darkened sky only lit by the full moon, and feels invisible.

The Gathering feels small: she'd never attended before now, and suddenly the tales as a kit of trees so tall they pierced the sky and masses of cats, all shining under Silverpelt... seemed so far away. Ringed by thorns and smelling horrible, with ashes that'd take days to get out of her fur.

Just another thing the clan likes to pretend is important. She ignores the announcements, hopping over the stones to where Salmon and Silverpaw sat.

The pale tom's whiskers were white and pelts ablaze with starlight, and even his mentor had seemed to take on a different glow. The brown warrior was obviously preparing for something, her amber eyes narrowed in some dangerous thought. Cinderpaw fell into step beside her fellow apprentice in silence, thinking it wise to not disturb her.

Silverpaw himself seemed as if he had shrunk, tail wrapped tightly around his paws, bright gaze flickering between the leaders and his mentor. It almost reminded her of her brother.

I hope that mouse-brain hasn't choked on his cobwebs while I'm over here, she thinks dryly, her tail twitching in open annoyance.
