The Icewing flew among the mountains, the night casting a light glow on her ice white scales and bits of gold among her. The dew in the air froze as she flew down to her own cave before landing sitting in the moonlight, listening as the ground froze bit by bit under her talons. She knew she was different from the start- since when she was hatched and her parents never let her play with the other dragonets, to never let her be alone. She always froze everything she touched. Her parents said there was no dragon like her, besides the skywings with Firescales, the exact opposite of her "condition."
But she always wondered what would happen if she did touch a firescales. Would she burn? Would they freeze? Or nothing? What would happen if she touched another dragon like her? If there was another like her. Would she freeze, or would they freeze? She always questioned it, but she knew she would most evidently always be alone.

Akali soared high over the shifting sands of the deserts of the kingdom of sand. Akali flapped down and stared down at the ground far below her. She was so high up, she couldn't see anything except sand, which was better. Her goal waa that if any dragon happened to be looking up, all they would see would be a small black speck in the large blue sky. Akali had just finished a mission a few hours prior, and was heading to the border of the ice kingdom to tell Permafrost, a hulky icewing who was her employer of this mission, that she successfully killed a sandwing noble and would receive a large cash prize.

"It's a nice day today," Akali said to herself, trying to get her mind of the events that had just happened hours ago.

Glass sat there on the beach, glad to be away from all the other dragons. This was where he felt most at home. The border between his parents’ kingdoms. It had happened again. Dragons making fun of him for how he looked. Sahara had stood up for him, but no one paid her any mind. In the Sea, nothing like that happened. He wondered if there were any dragons like him. Hybrids, or other dragons with weird powers. He doubted it. He just wanted to disappear. “I might as well tell Sahara and Mother where I’m going,” he thought.

With that, he took flight, back toward the Desert Palace

Akali dove below the clouds as she began to feel cool breezes in the wind. She was approaching the border and began to search the ground for Permafrost. She caught sight of a small cluster of tents and smirked. Flaring her wings out, she glided down to the tent camp to spot Permafrost.

(btw permafrost doesn't employ missions.. She just lives in one of the center mountains on the map of pyrrhia :/)

Permafrost kept to her mountain, occasionally freezing water droplets that fell from the stalactites that were forming. She usually stayed there, occasionally heading out to explore, hunt, gather random materials to make herself more at home, which she tries to make it look more like the ice kingdom used to. She didn't really ever chat with other dragons anyways so she just made it more home feeling since nobody really passes her mountain.

(@Crowfolly Oh sorry! I was trying to think of a name of the icewing who was giving my character the missions I didn't mean to put Permafrost. I'll just change the name to Icicle. Sorry! I honestly don't know why I put Permafrost.)

Akali lifted the flap and entered the largest tent in the camp. A large icewing sat behind a wooden table. Akali narrowed her eyes as the icewing turned around.
"Icicle," Akali hissed. "It is done."
Icicle smiled and held out one paw. "The necklace."
Akali rumaged through one of the many pouches she wore around her neck and arms and pulled out a gold chain necklace with a gold locket. "The money, and this is all yours."
Icicle produced a pouch stuffed with gold. Akali grabbed the pouch and handed over the locket. Akali smiled as she stepped back and smirked at the gold pouch in her claws. "Pleasure doing business with you."
Akali exited the tent stepped into the clearing. she walked through the small cluster of tents. Once she made it to the edge of camp, she opened her gold bag to stow away the gold. Before she took off, she reached into anouther of her pouches and pulled out a gold locket.
"The real locket is much prettier and with fetch a hefty price at Possiblity," Akali said to herself. She clipped the locket on and spread her wings and took off. She sped off back towards the sand kingdom.

Permafrost settled down. She heard of a sandwing town called 'possiblity' and once saw it when she was leaving the icewing kingdom, but didn't really want to visit it because she was told the sandwings were quite vicious and like bandits by her parents when she still lived with them a while ago. But what were they like?

Akali was flying for a while before possibility finally came into view. Akali tilted her wings and began to spiral down to the town. She carefully landed in an allyway to make sure no one saw her land. Slipping the hood from her cloak over her head and making her tail spikes were safely closed up and not noticeable, she slipped out of the alleyway and into the crowd.

(possibly. Permafrost may just land outside of possibility and watch other dragons in curiosity.)

Akali knew very well she shouldn't be here. Actually, she shouldn't be anywhere near civilization. But Akali knew she needed to sell all her loot. If she spread the evidence, she would be harder to track down. She looked around for a good, innocent dragon she could snell the treasure too.
The sooner I get rid of this, the sooner I can be off, Akali thought and looked around. She could hear the loud thoughts of all the dragons in Possibility, but it didn't faze her on her mission. She used her mind reading to cancel out many dragons and narrow her search.
