Okay, so, do you guys want to share your ideas here? (I currently have one, but it's a little complicated for a role-play). We could make it into one plot that we'll all agree on!

-Angel and demon
-apocalyptic factions.
-modern
-medieval

Sure! We can all chip in a little and see what we like best.
Any base to start on, is better than nothing :)

Do we want to stick to dragons? or.....?

I think we should start out with working off something to do with dragons. What era/time (like medieval, etc) would you guys want? Honestly, olden times seem interesting to me, but anything works.

Olden times, or something almost ridiculously far in the future. But they are biological marvels (not like they are already), and no technology seems to be able to come on par with their capabilities/resistance.

What do you guys think should be the main conflict? One thing we could work off of is rankings in a society (eg poor, middle class, royal -- but more in depth). I've been reading a lot of books recently with that plot and I find it pretty interesting.

An interesting issue. Could be interesting to add in (maybe) a bit of racial issues? Like maybe it's believed imperials are the greater species/breed?
All this in a medieval-esque dragon society?
(don't be afraid to shoot my ideas down... if anything it'll help us move along)

I agree, I like that idea. The only thing is, maybe we could work off of rarity?

Plentiful breeds = lowest in society, slaves or servants // Fae, Guardian, Tundra, Mirror
Common breeds = poor dragons in the society with limited jobs // Pearlcatcher, Ridgeback, Snapper, Spiral
Uncommon breeds = middle class of the society // Skydancer, Bogsneak
Limited breeds = first class // Imperials, Nocturnes
Rare breeds = royal class // Coatls, Wildclaws

However, maybe like @CoeurQuilin said, we could have one breed be above all.

We can do that yus! Though having two breeds at the top of society can make for a wider fan of possibilities.... as you wish. Both options are interesting to me.

Plot
Do we want to start low-class, start up a rebellion sort of thing, or infiltrate higher ranks with assassination?

Or lower classes manage to escape and try and make a new society where all are equal. But the high arrogant aristocrats want to prevent them so they can keep their status of course.

Jump between high-borns and and low-borns (have multiple characters).

Classic high born falls in love with a lower born dragon. Must keep it a secret. Maybe the high born would be working towards making things more fair and just for all.

Or (based off a book I'm reading nowadays), lower classes are also corrupt due to their way of life. Thus we find the rise in professional thieves. But like ridiculously good. Maybe we could expand that to assassins (completely living outside of society)?

Unusual low-borns with extraordinarily powerful magic powers, brings a threat to the hierarchy of things.

Inversely, a highborn with no power whatsoever, disgraced and probably disowned. Ends living on the street with other lower classes. Wants to have revenge. Learns respect for the other classes.
