A little Kokiri boy had set out to collect the spiritual stones, then vanished off the face of Hyrule. The princess was missing, and the guardians of the Kokiri and Zoras were either dead or MIA. Monsters roamed freely throughout the land. Ganondorf had ruled unopposed. For four years, Hylians, Kokiri, Gorons, Zoras, and rebellious Gerudo had suffered, and the Sheikah were driven near extinction. Many had given up hope on the Chosen Hero. It was time for a new rise of warriors. ——— [b]General Info[/b][/center] This is an Ocarina of Time RP. It’s four years after the Gerudo King took over Hyrule, and the Hero of Time is missing or dead. You can be a Hylian, Goron, Zora, or Female Gerudo, or ask for permission if you want another species (for instance, I’ll probably have a Skull Kid). Kokiri aren’t allowed because they’re technically not supposed to leave the forest. This will have a main quest line with some form of dungeons (kind of), but there will definitely be sidequests. She bears many characteristics of a lion fish, although her spines are not harmful. She also has the coloring of a lionfish, with a generally orange-ish body and a lighter underbelly. Her spines are located on her head, neck, arms, and waist. When she’s surprised, angry, flustered, agitated, etc., her spines flare. Her eyes are a deep ruby. Like many zoras, Nayruva’s skin is very smooth, and is usually at least somewhat wet at any given time. Her eyes are almond shaped, and while they look kind, she has an almost angry resting face. Her feet are like the fins of a certain fish. The webs between her fingers are strangely thin, although they’ve been that way since birth. A couple of small scars dot her arms and chest, but they’re very hard to see unless you’re looking for them. She wears a tight collar and chest armor of a golden material, and a red-orange sash around her waist. Even if she were to take them off, you wouldn’t see anything; she doesn’t have much as far as curves go. She has a rather pretty form (with minimal curves) and is average height, with notable muscle tone from training. Her spines almost form natural clothing. She walks deliberately and with her head held high, something many nobles do on instinct. Her face is rather expressive, although she also has a killer poker face. [b]Backstory[/b]: Many years ago, a noble from Zora’s Domain met a commoner of the ocean zoras. The commoner came to live in Hyrule, and the two ended up falling in love. They had two daughters: Nayruva and Rudina. Rudina, the younger of the two, was sent to train in the ocean at a very young age; no one has heard from her since. Nayruva comes from a noble zora family on her father’s side. Her family has long been loyal to the crowns of both the zoras and the hylians, and she was taught to be no different. However, when Ganondorf’s army attacked Zora’s Domain, she was in the wrong place at the wrong time (and happened to be only 14). In the battle, she tried to fight, but was forced to escape to Lake Hylia by her mother. She wound up taking refuge in a little fishing nook off of the lake - which, surprisingly, was never attacked. The owner of the pond and hut let her stay until she decided it was safe. When she left his pond to return home, she found the lake significantly lower and the link to her home frozen solid. In fact, all of Zora’s Domain was frozen, as she soon discovered. Many zora, including her dad, were frozen in strange red ice that she couldn’t break, and more still were simply frozen in normal colored ice that she couldn’t break. Due to the battle a few days earlier, the corpses of both Ganon’s minions and zora warriors, including her mother, were everywhere. Nayruva took the initiative to give all the zora a proper burial (even if no one was left to attend the funeral) and burn all the minions. Nayruva has always wanted revenge against Ganondorf and his armies for what they did to her kingdom, but never has had the chance. She considers herself a failure to both the zoras and the Hylian royal family for being one of the only zora left conscious, yet being completely useless. [b]Other[/b]: Her name comes from Nayru, the goddess of wisdom. It’s a traditional name passed down her mother’s family. They say that the bearer of the name will be guided by the goddess throughout her life; Nayruva dismisses this as a family legend.
