Welcome to the Graphite Academy for Superheroes, or as we are more frequently known, GAS. We pride ourselves on a refined education system that brings out the best (and much better) from each one of our students. Our faculty is a mixture of retired superheroes and frequent guests from various fields, all of whom are dedicated to educating young and exceptional students. We hope to see each of our students explore, create, and build, to become the best they can be.

You frown at the letter, then up at the building. It looms far above you, made of solid stone, with strange gems embedded here and there. Far below the enormous bell tower, a range of strange students, from human to part-creature to holy-cow-is-that-a-dragon, are milling about. Some look right at home, and are mingling with ease. Others are standing slightly apart from the crowd, some apprehensive, some excited. That must be the rest of the new crowd. You make your way over.

RULES:

- Regular FR rules apply. Rude characters are allowed, but rude roleplayers are not. Please **** any cursing beyond "what the hell".

- This roleplay is meant for a story format, meaning dialogue is not the focus. Please join only if you are comfortable with tons of world-building and character development. We welcome any plot twists!

- To apply to this school, you require the following: ONE or TWO Characters (forms are mandatory) and respectively, text dictating how they respond to the situation above. This is so I know how long your entries are, on average.

- Your character must fit into the form located below the rule list. Preferably, a sentient figure between the ages of 7 and 17. Students do not require uniforms, but there is a dress code. Use some common sense.

- Inactivity is frowned upon. Please check back at least once every 3-4 days. I will not kick anyone, but it's your job to make sure your character(s) catch(es) up. If we move on, we move on.

Physical Appearance:
5' 1", slender build, webbed hands and feet, visible gills rather than lungs. Muddy yellow/orange hair with a strangely silky feel, waist-length, usually tugged into a low bun. Yellow eyes with black, vertical pupils. Green-blue skin tone, more scale-like than actual skin. Wears clean white collared t-shirts and brown shorts. Prefers to wear sandals, or no shoes at all. Various bracelets, some gifts from her family.
Personality: Minakshi is generally very curious and definitely a good student - if it was up to her, she wouldn't move around so much with her family, so she could have a "good stable education". Her favourite subjects are history and Earth Sciences. She particularly likes studying the history of humans on Earth, because it is beyond her how one species can be so diverse and unique - and still always fighting! She believes all rules are made for a reason, but if she isn't given a strict reason for something, she will do her best to disprove it just to prove a point. Overall, she's the ideal student, but moving around so much during her childhood has led to her being a little averse to working with others. Nevertheless, she is more than willing to be friends - as long as the other party is cool with shaking a webbed hand.

- both parents work in nature, outdoors and abroad, so she spent most of her childhood moving around till being admitted to Graphite
- likes to carry a little satchel with her magnifying glass, pencil, and notebook, to study "land organisms"

About 4 ft 5, small but sturdy build, probably gonna be a muscled dude when they're older. Some freckles, hardly noticeable, on their nose and cheeks. Wears a sleeveless white shirt, an open white jacket with a collar and pale blue stripes, and matching shorts that are pretty loose, resembling basketball shorts. Huge basketball-esque shoes as well, matching their colour scheme.
Personality:
Spent their whole life on Mars, never visited Earth, but learned about it, so they're pretty chill about humans. Super excitable, often teleports without meaning to and goes WHOOPS before falling off a cliff, or something similar. Definitely wants to make friends with people, thinks all magic abilities are super radical-swell, and uses really bad slang for lots of dumb things. Has a strong but often incorrect idea of right and wrong, and will not hesitate to tell you so. Pretty adorable kid, overall.
Abilities:
- Teleportation, often out of control due to outside stimulation
- Can whip their hair at people, does this count?
- Easily blends into background, this isn't invisibility or anything, just a knack
- Pretty good dodger, hair is used to deflect physical attacks

@Sprinkledemon Not everyone attends a boarding school by choice, you know. plenty of students have secret plans to take over the universe... after dessert, that is. Keep in mind that they're still kids, but hell yeah, go wild with morals and intentions!

Also, if you guys can find anyone else who'd like to participate, that'd be swell! A school isn't a school without students!
