Rules + The Big Idea
+ This is a roleplay-based familiar shop, in which you, potential customer, get to roleplay one of your dragons in return for a familiar.
++Note: you do not need to purchase a familiar in order to roleplay, simply state in your last response if your dragon is going to purchase a familiar (and then we can discuss which one and the price) and I will respond accordingly.
+ Please only roleplay one dragon at a time, and be descriptive.
+ I do not personally roleplay anything on FR’s list of stuff not to do, so I would appreciate you keeping to that as well.
+ You do not have to roleplay in this thread if you do not want to. We can do it over private message if you prefer, however I will be updating the thread with new familiars as I get them.
+ If you want your particular session to be more like an animal shelter and the familiars have personalities/names/etc, just tell me.
+ I will only roleplay 1x1 unless you don’t mind sharing attention with other users.
+ I want to inform you that I have not purchased any of these familiars. I get them from other sources, such as Gathering Items and occasional rewards from my own familiars, also the coliseum. No familiar here has been bought only to be resold.
Adoption Program
+ If you already have a familiar, and you don’t want to sell it but you don’t want to keep it, we can also roleplay your dragon giving it to mine, and then you can give me the familiar and I’ll find it a good home. Free of charge on the donor’s part.
+ You can also request in-character updates about your familiar when it finds its new, forever home. Please leave this in your information (see below) when you request a session.
+ If I personally like the familiar, I will adopt it out to myself and send you an in-character update on it if you wish, in a trade-off letter to the donor dragon written by both Sakuyra and the one who is now benefiting from the companionship of your familiar.
+ You can give me as many familiars as you can put into a one-way Crossroads or PM.
What I Need Before We Begin
+ A picture/link to your chosen dragon.
+ The name of the dragon.
+ Basic description of how the dragon acts/how to perceive them/etc. However, if you feel more detail is necessary, don’t stop! Keep going! I love to hear about dragons, anyway! You can go absolutely nuts describing them if you want. I don’t mind.
+ Where you want the session to be. (PM/thread/elsewhere?) This question applies to the roleplay itself. (My go-to response is ‘in a cave’.)
+ Anything else you want to add, or feel is important to mention.
Fair warning, I will respond with similar detail about my chosen dragon, who will be, of course, Sakuyra (the dragon in the picture), most likely through PM as it’s easier to keep the thread for actual roleplay.
Payment
+ This is a shop, however that isn’t the main focus (hence why it’s in “Roleplay” and not “Items for Sale”). Even so, I must discuss the method of payment.
+ I will accept treasure, gems, and anything on my wishlist.

This mith wields the elemental energies of the land.
2500
Frosted Pocketmouse
Familiar
Though they can thrive in a variety of climates, frosted pocketmice are known for their tenacity during harsh winters.
1500
Harvest Hardshell
Familiar
These tough land crabs don't give a lot of sustenance, but they're experts at taking it.
250
Contaminated Ambassador
Familiar
Serthis have an excellent natural protection against poisons and toxins, making them natural emissaries to the Scarred Wasteland. (Riot of Rot 2018 Holiday Item)
0
Strangler
Familiar
The strangler actively hunts once a year. It chokes its prey and buries the body. It will take root in soon-to-be fertile soil and rest for another year.
1775
Basilisk
Familiar
A basilisk's gaze can petrify even the hardiest Earth dragons into stone. Staring contests with this familiar are not recommended.
1800
Bramble Guardian
Familiar
A colony of bramble guardians is sure to keep any lair warded from tiny intruders.
2100
Auburn Woolly Walrus
Familiar
Their severe overbite causes them chronic discomfort, sometimes resulting in unprovoked hostility.
2600
Fan Scorpion
Familiar
Arachnids that grow this large ain't right.
1950
x2
Firebug
Familiar
While it won't start any fires, it is attracted to them, and anything that glows.
500
Triple-Sight Firebug
Familiar
A dragon that has closely bonded with its firebug may be able to use its sight for short periods of time. It's a pity its vision is terrible.
500
Paddyfowl
Familiar
Paddyfowl are often a nuisance for Sornieth's smaller amphibians, who mistake the paddyleaves along their body as gentle places to rest.
500
Glitterfreeze Ambassador
Familiar
The Longneck of the Southern Icefield have a storied history of coexisting with dragonkind, and many are happy to guide trekking clans through the most dangerous mountain passes. (Crystalline Gala Holiday Familiar 2019.)
0
Scorchpaw Prowler
Familiar
Dragonkind have stiff competition during the summer hunts, and it can be hard to pick off smaller game with these bobcats slinking around.
250
Carmine Serthis
Familiar
The carmine serthis' scales present a particularly rich shade of red after it has freshly molted.
2000
Smoky Bantam Fangar
Familiar
Dragons bonded to bantam fangar are easily identifiable by the cloud of fur that dusts their scales at all times.
1200
Undergrowth Shovelsnout
Familiar
This enterprising boar wriggles its way into the forest floor undergrowth to get the very best creepy crawlers.
250
Charoite Burrower
Familiar
I want to be shiiiiinnny!

Acacia
Acacia is a bright-eyed tundra, who always seems to smell like fragrant herbs. She always walks with an air of calm, even in the most chaotic situations.
I'd like to have this session in a PM, with the setting of a farmer's-market type place.

Of course you can be pinged! And you can 100% donate familiars! I look forward to working with you (and Sakuyra looks forward to caring for the familiars).

[item=Carmine Serthis]
The three strongest dragons of the clan came back from the Sandswept Delta. On the back of the brightly-colored Nocturne, Imriel, was a serpentine tail of very bright red.
Sakuyra gasped as the leader of the patrol, and the clan, Kadere, gripped the creature with his jaws and flung it in the Familiar Keeper’s direction. “A Carmine Serthis!”
It appeared to be badly injured. Why does no one else in my clan care about them? she wondered as she, with much more concern, balanced the creature on her back and took it into her den, past the excited eyes of the other familiars with similar histories. They sat patiently at the Pearlcatcher’s den entrance, peeking inside as Sakuyra attempted to heal the poor thing.
