Welcome to The Queen’s Fall. This is a literate role play set generations after the war following the Copper and Quartz winglets. The basic plot is that we start as students attending Jade Mountain Academy, craziness ensues, and we’re of to save the world! Here are some things to know:
•The skywing queen is seven
•The sandwing queen is evil (and quite fond of poisons)
•The nightwings have their own royalty again
•Pantala has not been discovered yet
•Dragons keep trying to kill the skywing royals
•Tensions are high and dragons are expecting a war
•The rainwing queen might be crazy (and she has 43 children)

My Characters / Examples Name: Prince Shadowalker Dominant Tribe: nightwing Gender: male Age: 9 Winglet: Quartz Backstory: Shadowalker is an only child, but convinced his parents to let him come to school after pointing out that several other royals went and nothing bad had happened to them in the past sixty-two years. He has always lived comfortably and been able to travel freely, and might take it for granted. His family ha also been trying to set him up with Starglider, but they see each other only as friends. Other: He is friends with Starglider, and is very protective of anyone he grows close to. He is also a large dragon, standing almost a head taller than others. Her mother left her and her father to return to her life of luxury in the sky kingdom, leaving Citrine with a brooding hate of skywings. Citrine is really skinny after growing up where she had to go days at a time with just dried grasshoppers for food, but she is still healthy. This is her first time out of Possibility and is going to make the most of it. Other: Citrine is proud to be the daughter of a camel-herder and will happily announce that to anyone listening. She also has a small hatred of skywings because of her mothers abandonment. Tribe: NightWing
Gender: Female
Age: 8
Winglet: Copper
Backstory: Starglider was born into a very noble and wealthy family, so money has never been a problem for her. She was sent to the highest of NightWing schools up until she was able to convince her parents to send her to Jade Mountain. Her parents are very close to the King and Queen, and thus Starglider became close to Shadowalker. Of course, they pretend not to know each other when their parents are around, since their parents are constantly trying to arrange a marriage between them. They’re the best of friends, but they try to keep it at just that.
Other: She’s not exactly a big dragon, but she moves with a regality and purpose that is often intimidating. While he’s definitely bigger than her, if anyone threatens Shadow, she’ll be at their throat. She likes to cause chaos in everything. She’s very charismatic and good at getting people to trust her, for whatever reason.
Appearance: Working on it. She’s about average height, maybe a tad shorter, and a little on the skinny side. Tinted purple.


Name: Asperitas
Tribe: IceWing
Gender: Male
Age: 6, close to 7
Winglet: Quartz
Backstory: Asperitas was in a middle to lower class family. He never went hungry, but his meals were always small. He’s devoted himself to a life of training and studying to help himself rise through the ranks, and he’s currently teetering on the bottom of the second circle. His parents are very proud of him, and sent him to Jade Mountain in hopes that it would improve his studies.
Other: He would much rather be reading than talking. He likes to stay out of things, but if someone keeps bothering him, he’ll probably snap.
Appearance: Working on it. Tinted a very light blue.

Name: Linsang
Dominant Tribe: RainWing
Gender: Female
Age: 7
Winglet: Quartz
Backstory: Linsang came from pretty normal upbringings-- she grew up in the rainforest with the rest of the RainWings, and came to Jade Mountain for no special reason, simply an education.
Other: She doesn't mind being called Lin as a nickname. She's an easygoing, nonhostile creature, but is quite active, and sometimes gets too "in your face" about things when she gets excited or otherwise worked up about it.
Appearance: I'll add a drawing once I'm happy with the lineart, but I'll describe her for now since she does need an appearance. Linsang is a rather long an sinuous figure, even for a RainWing. She prefers to keep her scales a warm tan, spotted with a darker brown, and a paler tan underbelly. Her wings amd the accents along her legs and back are a faded gold, with a brigher gold for her horns and claws. Her eyes are a pale yellow-green.

Backstory: Rosefinch's family was the nomadic sort, always moving from place to place, never settling down for long in any given area. Her parents sent her to Jade Mountain as they found that having their child with them made travelling too complicated.
Other: She knows geography pretty well as a result of her having travelled so much for most of her life so far. She's also quite athletic, and was never taught how to sit still, usually being encouraged to always keep moving, so she's usually very antsy, pacing around rooms where most would be sitting quietly. She doesn't mind being called Rose or Rosie by friends, but if someone she doesn't know very well tries it, they're getting bitten. As personality goes, she's somewhat aggressive, though not particularly competitive, and doesn't go around picking fights, and while not exactly antisocial, she mostly keeps to herself as she's not quite adept at socialization.
Appearance: Rosefinch is small for a SkyWing, most of her scales being a shade of reddish purple, with darker accents. Her underbelly is a peach shade, and the webbing of her wings a gentle pink. Her claws are a much darker shade of roughly the same colour as her body, and her eyes are a sharp golden-yellow. Her left horn is broken, and her right horn is decorated with two bands of rose gold, the one closer to the base of the horn being broader than the one behind it. She also has a lip ring of the same material as her horn bands.

Gender: M
Age: 7
Tribe: Ice-unknown father of different tribe.
Appearance: A normal IceWing build, with less and smaller spikes down his body. Strong and muscled, but his scales and spikes are rather delicate. Capelin has dark purple scales, with streaks down his body of lilac and gold, his extremities fading to white. His eyes are a deep blue.
Personality: Sheltered, innocent and good, Capelin is very curious about the world and what’s in it. tbd
Abilities: Weak frostbreath. possibly animus, if that’s okay.
Background: Son of a noble (possibly the queen?). He’s been kept inside most of his life, covered in warm furs to prevent him from freezing.
His mother made sure to protect him and defend him from the public eye, refusing to speak of his father and what tribe he might be.
Many see him as a tool for his powers, but Capelin is fairly uninterested in helping them. He has sworn never to use his powers and he intends to keep that.

Tribe: MudWing
Appearance: A nondescript red and brown MudWing, a bit larger than normal and very muscled. Her claws are long and curved and a bit scary. Dark green eyes.
Personality: A good dragon. Dog just wants to help people. He understands most with ease and is extremely friendly. She can be over-exited easily.
Background: a normal MudWing one. Her sibs urged her to go.
