TOPIC | Looking for feedback on a new skin

The body color is just to show where the body is while I work, since the original gray-scale blended too much with the design I was doing. I would like specific feedback on a few things: First: Are there any obvious issues that would prevent this from being approved? Second: Generally - do you like how it looks? Third: The semi-translucent spots on the wing, good idea or not? Fourth: The star spots under the moon - I can't decide if I like them or not. Thoughts? Fifth: Should I do something with the body or leave it blank so the original dragon color can show through? And if I do something, what should I do? A bright color? Something textural, like scales or feathers? White? More of the gray scale like on the belly? Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Alright here I go~

1, It's always tricky working with dark grays but I think your skin should be fine with the layers/shading being a darker color than your base color. Mostly for the very dark parts. So IF it would happen that it gets rejected I'd assume they'll mostly refer to making the shadows more visible. I think you're good though. Looks good in my eyes and I can clearly see the original shadow layer.

2/3, I like the design and I think the semi-transparent part of the wing is a really neat detail. It's possible you can add in more tiny detailed parts that act as semi-transparent areas and give the skin more to work with as it'll cover upp most of the wing. Since you've tried with the semi-transparent route on a small scale I can say it may work in your favor to add a bit more. The moon could look really amazing if you let the color shine in from behind more.

4, I'd suggest making the stars a bit larger as your skin will be a lot smaller in the final stages. Lot of them will blend in of not be seen at all when you shrink down the image to submit it.

5, I'll throw in some suggestions of what you can do, but ultimately you should do something you feel you'd want.
-Possible using scales or a similar pattern that you used for the moon. Making it less transparent along the edges where it meets the wing/belly and then "fading" into more semi-transparent details later.
-Leaving it as it is is absolutely fine. Sometimes it can really make the primary pop later.

Hope this helps and good luck! :D It's a really neat first try on a skin <3
