The contest is for fire-themed skins[/url] that will drop in the coliseum and stock in the treasure marketplace only during this holiday week (after which they will be retired.) [indent][b]Theme: [/b]The Fire Flight and Ashfall Waste. Non-skin contests are something we might look into for the future, but the skins are expected to be a part of each holiday for the foreseeable future. :-) [quote]Where it says 2 entries does that mean you can only enter two skins max? If you make a third entry, you'll need to edit your post and remove one of the previous two. You can edit your post until the deadline. You do not need to purchase a blueprint to enter this contest. In the last skin contest for Lightning I saw winning skins that included pure black in their skin design even though it states in the skin-making guidelines not to include pure black. Was that rule changed?[/quote] @ilikemailboxes The rule has not changed. Going straight to #000000 across large areas of a design is not a great way to improve your chances of winning. However, you can get fairly dark without going straignt to jet-black. You can also go to jet black in very very small areas (though its not encouraged.) We're trying to avoid ink-dragons that look flat and have no definable linework or shadows, as that breaks site style and is not particularly interesting to boot!

While we appreciate skins being 350x350, I'll resize them manually if need be. It's just nice to have them ready-to-go. (having them displayed at a larger size doesn't improve your chances of winning.)
