Perhaps instead of stating that this is an old thread that it be locked/removed. If not a stickied or Important guide. It would most likely reduce lag on the severs. As as far as I am aware all forum info an posts are stored on the servers as well. ( I really don't know is if this is the case for flight rising, So i assume it is. )

Agreed! I find it especially annoying when I'm looking for raffle posts, and there are 100 raffles that finished months ago.

Unfortunately a lot of people find old posts helpful or interesting. I have seen info on posts that were NOT guides or stickied that I couldn't find elsewhere, that was really helpful.
No support for removing them unless the OP of the thread ASKS for it to be removed. (their thread, if the ycan ask for it to be locked, they should be able to ask for it to be removed)

No support for removing old forum posts, except maybe in some forums, such as raffles/sales/wanted, but only if it's a one-time use topic (so no established hatcheries/shops) and all items/dragons have been sold/found, or no one's posting anymore.
Maybe adding an archive to some forums wouldn't be the worst idea, though.

How about running a script that archives/deletes any forum that has not been posted to in a year. Also a forum search would be great.
