The title is only a general description so please read the post as I explain what I mean!
So we know that the FR staff get a huge number of requests to unexalt dragons/progens. Currently the rule is that each account can request their progens returned once, as well as one previously exalted dragon once.
In order to put some ease on the staff, as well as recognize that accidental exalts might happen more than once in a players lifetime on the site, I would like to suggest an automated system for recalling accidental exalts.
This system would also permit one recall with a cool down time of 365 days, and not be available for dragons that have been exalted for longer than say 18 months. It naturally can only recall dragons exalted by the account user, and would have a scaling fee depending on the dragons level (to prevent it being abused). Progens can be recalled as well, but only once for the account. They would not be subject to the same 18 months restriction, but again can only ever be recalled once.
I believe this would relieve a lot of stress for people that have accidentally exalted, whilst being restrictive enough and with a fee involved that it cannot be abused. The 18 month limit also prevents it from being immediately used to recall low digit dragons causing a flood in the economy. This would also stop the (literal) thousands of recall requests the staff currently get, saving them both time and money.
TL;DR: A system to allow you to recall a dragon exalted by your account within the last 18 months once every 365 days at a fee that scales with their level. Progens can be recalled too, but only once per account.

This feels, idk, of little use to the majority while being code-heavy? How common is the serious accidental exaltation because while the poster speaks of literal thousands of recall requests, I don't remember that info being public (unless it's the progens, which seem to mostly already been finished).

Personally I see no need for it. I think the current manual recall is best as other than the progens it is not a commonly used thing. The admins are nice enough to help out once which is more than generous. The one time accidental exalt recall is only honored if the exalt was recent. 18 months is not recent.

Honestly, I sort of wish the staff would stop taking recall requests at all. It's leading to this mentality that exaltation isn't really permanent. Then people are surprised when it takes the staff a long time to get to their request.
No support. Exaltation is supposed to clear dragon data from the system, and 18 months is a long time to hold on to that data. I kind of wish we had a figure on how many dragons get exalted in an average week, one without any Dom battles, but I'm certain the number is in the tens of thousands.

It takes
Twelve Years for one Imperial pair to produce a Primal-eyed offspring of a specific sex. Goal-based breeding is dead.
No use to implement this for 1 to 3 'special' cases per user.
How would that even work with the restriction that you only get exalts back if the exaltation was recent and accidental? Someone would still have to proove the users claim.

I could maybe support a 3-5 minute grace time.
Long enough for a "Damn! I meant to feed, not exalt!" to happen, where you can revert an exalt.
I don't support allowing this to happen for a year or more. Exalting is supposed to be permanent. If you accidentally send one off, you should have minutes to recall it.
Any longer and you risk people using this as a pricy storage system.

UK time. Sorry for timezone-related delays in responses. They/Them.
I have to agree with Greyjoy, if you really accidentally exalted your precious dragon you're going to realize your mistake within the next few minutes. I'd even maybe agree to stretch the time frame to 24 hours. But anything after that is either your one and only recall, or an accidental exalt, too bad, try to find another.
It may seem harsh, but the current system is one and done already. The staff are gracious enough to even offer getting one exalted dragon back. Most users don't have this issue, especially not on the scale of wanting to unexalt an '"accidental" dragon every year...

support. i lost my favorite dragon to a hacking incident and she was exalted for spite. i still have not received an email back from staff after nearly half a year and have given up hope. i lost interest in fr for a while after i lost her too.
