So, I was trying to figure out why the shmuck don't we have gun apparel on the site.
"Weapons aren't something children are supposed to see" argument doesn't fit, we have bow & arrows apparel, we have swords, and these are weapons capable of killing a person.
"This is fantasy, and gun technology is too advanced!" - ok but we have steampunk stuff working thanks to electricity, so this isn't it either.

I'd support fantasy, sci-fi and medivieal (or generally old) guns.
Thing about guns is that in some countries where there are basically no laws forbidding private persons to own and or carry guns gunviolence runs rampant. And since likely most players of FR reside in one of these countries its a bit too close to home if staff introduced modern or realistic looking guns.
And while yes swords and bows are weapons too - when was the last time you heard or saw a massacer that was done with a sword? Or bow? Most of these monsters use guns because it is so much faster and easier to kill a big group of peopke with them as opposed to a glorified kitchen knife. - Which in my oppinion makes guns much MUCh worse than swords.
