TOPIC | Item Cycle Schedule
So, we have a lot of Cycled-out gem items, and some of them haven't come back into stock for over a year or longer. Sometimes it feels as if the staff have forgotten about things such as the Ornate Platinum set and the Talonclasp Pendants. I believe that if the staff could come up with a cycle schedule to re-cycle in all the items, it would relieve a lot of stress on the player base. Items like the Pirate sets, seasonal items, Swans, and Turkeys have a yearly cycle, so deciding on and sticking to a once or twice yearly schedule for the rest of the items should be possible.

Having a schedule would help players immensely by allowing time to prepare for it. I'm sure many users, like myself, may need to budget money in order to buy gems for the items. Having a schedule would help us figure out when we can buy and save gems for the items we want. Without a schedule and just having the items irregularly surprise stock, many would miss their chance to get the items because of money constraints for that week or due to just not noticing the update notes.

Please, Flight Rising, let us know when you plan on re-stocking items. It would be incredibly helpful.

I like the mix of scheduled and unscheduled cycles. It adds a bit of drama and excitement.

The scheduled ones would be the returning festival items and the nocturne items. :)

No support. I actually enjoy the randomness of the unscheduled.

No support. I prefer the random cycle. That way it keeps everyone on their toes and it can be a surprise sometimes. It also means that some of those rarer cycled items don't end up flooding the site. If there was a schedule, people would hoard currency before hand and buy a bunch when they cycled. As it is, it keeps things more random.

I don’t like that it’s random and comes without warning but it shouldn’t be just know about all year long. Why not have the staff schedule it and just not tell us till a week before or so before so we at least have a few days to be prepared.

I don't support a set cycle, to be honest.

Besides, the random nature of the current one is good for making money for them. If people save in advance, fewer people would be likely to splurge money on buying gems, especially for high-value items such as Wildclaw Scrolls and such.

We've seen what happens when we know there's a desirable item coming out -- it stifles the economy. People stop buying anything else. It was a nightmare, like that ridiculous nospendtember nonsense turned up to eleven.

So no thanks.

UK time. Sorry for timezone-related delays in responses. They/Them.
Maybe not something scheduled, but perhaps something stocks within two years of it cycling out last, so no more of that 3 years nonsense that happened with the Goldslab apparel.

Also perhaps a notice at least a couple days before something cycles in could also help~

i... i would like a schedule, or a "heads up"--- at least for expensive things

a week and a half is not a lot of time for people to get 2000 gems (i am using wildclaw scrolls as an example)

alternatively: keep things cycled in longer

I don't think we need a set cycle necessarily, but I do think an advance notice would be good, or a longer period for items to be in the shop. I mean, originally, the FR team said they'd give advance notice when cycled out gem items would be coming back...but they never once have. So. Yeah.

No support. Making money with items is already hard enough as it is. With people knowing when stuff recycles they are a lot less likely to buy from the ah what would screw a lot with the economy and how some players generate income.
