While they can be beautiful and compliment outfits very well in some context, often times these pendants are just getting in the way. [s]Have you notices how they're quite chunky, to the point where you wonder how much a gem of that size would actually cost? How about that they're almost perfectly sharp rectangles?[/s] Or maybe that on almost every breed, every gender, they seem to be facing almost perfectly towards the side (or, us, at the "viewing angle" of the dragon).
So, because I think these would be able to add so much to so many outfits if just a little bit more was added to them, I call for a Talonclasp Pendant Revamp!
[s]Maybe make them a little smaller, a little less chunky like the Teardrop set. Curve the edges and tops a little, so they're not perfectly formed rectangles.[/s] Maybe thin down the gold rim, and have silver/copper/platinum instead of gold on the Sapphire and Onyx ones. And finally, have them facing forward more, instead of to the side for a more natural look.
These are just a few ideas, and while this is on the trivial side of revamps, I still think it would provide a significant benefit to some dragons.

Edit: It seems that many people like the chunkiness of the necklaces, especially since there isn't that much chunky apparel, so feel free to ignore that part. Sorry.
A jewelry box filled with the Citrine, Tanzanite, Onyx, Emerald, and Sapphire Talonclasp Pendants. A savings of ten percent!

hi, i'm may! nice to meet you. feel free to send a PM if you'd like to say hi!
Yeah yeah yeah!!!!!!
I love these so much and I'd love for them to be redrawn.
The perspective can look a little funky on some breeds.
I would however consider them currently fairly detailed and would hope that the detail carries over if they are redrawn.
I.... I do however like that they are large though :(
we do not have a lot of large jewelry- but we do have smaller. Were it up to me I'd keep them the same size. Too many changes and it would be better to just make new apparel items (which also sounds cool)

I would like these redrawn. I thought they were too big and ugly when first released and, honestly, they suffer the persistent unnatural angle to show off the goods problem. They definitely need a redraw.
I'd like them to stay at the size they are now, just fix the stupid perspective.

UK time. Sorry for timezone-related delays in responses. They/Them.
hey man don't hate on chunky jewelry
anyways no support, feels weird if they change gem apparel. people paid RLC for that stuff.
Support for a slight update on the art, as long as the size isn't changed.
I personally don't like the teardrop jewelry at all. It's too subtle, and I would dislike bulkier sets to be changed to be smaller.

They did update the Ornate Platinum Armor, didn't they, @rhea. I don't think that it would stop staff, since it was done in the past.
I don't think they should redraw these because they're gem apparel (even if they've done it before) and the one that isn't takes a lot of work to get. It's been years, and if people paid for them, they probably like how they look.
But.
I would like them to make some new ones that aren't so...clunky.
Like, I never understood why something that takes as much effort as the diamond talonsclasp pendant looks as...plain as it does.
Edit: By "new ones" I mean...things that are not these specific talonclasp pendants, but that are a similar "status" symbol, but actually look nice.

(Please don't ping me in the Suggestions Forum).
No support. Staff have a tendency to change re-drawn apparel quite a bit, rather than just updating them, and they don't look bad enough for a revamp. I like them chunky and square :/

I am personally not a fan of revamping old stuff. If it isn't an art mistake, I feel that things are best left alone.
However, were they to update the art, I feel they should keep the style, including size and shape, but fix things like perspective.

For the size thing: these are dragons. I would not be surprised if dragons had gems the size of fists or even larger. So I really don't think that they should be less clunky because of how much it would cost. Have you seen some older movies and seen some of the jewelry out there? There are humans who would wear something just as clunky and just as expensive, so I doubt dragons, which are very well known in most lore for their attraction to gold and gems, would be any different.
For the shape, that is a little harder because, while it might seem a bit odd to have sharp edges, these dragons do have the ability to create such and maybe the dragons like them that way.
For the perspective issue, yes, that is something that needs to be fixed, and should be considered an art mistake.
As others have said, there aren't a lot of chunky jewelry out there, and I don't think that this set really needs to be removed from that list. Many of the things you would like to see seem to me to be more personal preferences towards the jewelry instead of true reasons for a revamp. While you would like to see this, I am sure there are others who would hate to see what you are suggesting happen.

Dragons needed --->
I would like it if the pendants weren't so precisely facing the "camera" on the dragon on basically every model. That they're "chunky" or whatever is cool--I like the big jewelry that we can see. But I don't like it when it's clearly drawn in a weird way so that we can see the pendant's front. I think that's all I'd like to be changed about them.
I think this is also a problem for me with the flourish jewelry and to a lesser degree the Baldwin medallions sometimes.

Cheerful Chime
Trinkets
These bells are often hung around lairs at festival time. Their loud chiming has become something of a holiday tradition. (Special thanks to ViridianSylph!)
