TOPIC | Festival skin transmutations
I don't know if this has already been suggested or not, but would it be possible to have more colors of transmutation material used as ingredients for the festival skins? Like in some of the past Flameforger's Fests?

I know that green is theoretically the most likely color to get from transmuting something, but the fact that green is always the color used for festival skins makes it nearly impossible to build up a significant stock of it without buying from the AH. Despite being the most common, it's always in high demand, so buying it is also rather expensive. This puts newer or less active players at a disadvantage for collecting festival skins that can be brewed.

Despite being theoretically rarer, colors like yellow, orange, red, and even purple see far less use overall than the green. So players can end up building large stores of non-hoard sellable items that never get used.

I can see why it makes the most sense to use green for the majority of festivals, but perhaps it doesn't need to be used for all of them? If the colors for the festival skins were occasionally changed up, players would have a bit of breathing room when it comes to storing up the correct colors for transmutation.

Personally, I'd rather that all the skins used the same colour consistently so it's easier to know what to stock up on. I do agree that skins using green is annoying since the material already uses it and yellow.

It would make sense to me if they changed skins to need red or orange material. I think skins are intended to be rarer than the other festival items?

Right! I like the direction you're going in. If it were changed up to occasionally use materials that were technically rarer, we could preserve the value of the skins while making those materials, well, *actually rarer*. As opposed to the thing you roll your eyes at for getting 5 times in a row because only the green is useful.
