TOPIC | Disable a dragons attacks

It would be very useful if we had a 'disable this dragons rounds' in the coli. Why? Because when we're using a lvl 25 to train another two lvl 25 dragons, those trainees become fast enough to get a turn long before they become useful in the fight. Their rounds are basically a waste of seconds, and in the likely thousands of battles (I haven't counted)... those will stack up.

I'm not saying those rounds should go to the trainer or anything gamebreaking like that. Just.. an option so that we won't have to click 'scratch' or 'defend' thousands of times.

It's not the time that is the issue, but the clicking which feels boring repetitive. An option to set a dragons actions so that it automatically defends would not make the round any faster, but still spare the player that extra click.

Use the trainee dragon to throw health potions at your trainer.
Or, focus on getting breeds who have Meditate/Contuse as starting stones, so that you can contuse an enemy. You can stone them when they hit level 25.

Seriously, this is the opposite of a problem.

I disagree. Something doesn't have to be a "problem" in order for somebody to make a suggestion--that's why it's the Suggestions forum and not the Bug Report forum. In any case, I don't think this is a bad idea, either--especially if you're trying to be fast, and if we're going to go there, having fewer clicks/keyboard taps when you don't need to use a dragon's turn for an action goes towards coliseum accessibility.
Maybe have this option on the dragon's "equip" page? That way you don't have to spend a turn in battle setting them to "auto defend" or something, especially if they only get one turn in a battle.

There's a super simple solution - you don't have to put any stats into a trainee. I tincture, then stat and stone once they are finished leveling. The only reason it will get faster is if you physically put speed stats into it yourself, so if you don't like the dragon getting a turn then don't put stats into it until you feel it will be useful.

Otherwise like Sopheroo says, if you really can't avoid putting stats into your trainee whack a contuse or reflect on it, or use it to throw a health potion on the trainers.

Flight Rising: Where people spend thousands of gems to make dragons look pretty and then cover it all up with clothes and skins.
I'd follow up to AnnieGYG's idea by suggesting putting stats into VIT only and Tincturing when you're done. It allows them to be damage soaks that don't waste valuable Coli time.

Agreed- put my points into VIT and soak up that damage. It's a tincture either way, so I may as well get some use of those points.

I occasionally train dragons for other people and a lot of them come to me with random stats in completely unhelpful areas. Those random stats are usually why a trainer gets hired and there's nothing quite like lugging a trainee up 14 levels with a high QCK.

It's not a feature that would be overly helpful but it's also not one that is likely to be widely used.

I want to live in Theory. Everything works there.

Have you checked the Gem MP for Gene and Breed scrolls before buying an AH listing from me ending in 5g?
idk. While I can see this being useful, it also has a very simple solution of assigning stats and stones to avoid it (or even using a tincture to drop the unwanted stats to 5 as most 25s will be tinctured anyway).

If I could choose, I'd prefer there being an option to disable dragon from coli entirely, then this - otherwise I got to say no support due to there being a solution even without this option.

Stat distribution can not be used to avoid this. At lvl 15 they already have a turn each even when unstoned and that's after tincturing all of their stats down to the lowest they can get.

Why does it matter if a dragon has a turn sometime after your lvl 25 trainer? Your trainer will still have their turns first (unless the trainee has an ambush) and sometimes even finishes the entire battle before the trainees' turns come up.

Are those turns annoying if the trainee has scratch? Yeah, but a meditate minimizes the issue as much as possible even now and both stones are cheap enough to swap as needed. I am training a few physical dragons and a few mages right now and at least for me the fixed ambush bug is a lot more annoying as I had added an ambush to each of them :')
